#44 Wonder Dog Hanna Barbara CreationFrom WikipediaWonder Dog is a fictional canine superhero from the original Super Friends television series. The character appeared in both the animated series, as well as the comic book of the same name, but wasn't incorporated into the DC Universe until 2008. My Personal ThoughtsWhen the Super Friends hit the airwaves back in 1973 this cartoon series became an instant favorite of mine and this character Wonder Dog was a big part of that animated experience. Even though that this character was on one season before he was replaced by Gleek the season afterwards and I will never, ever forget him. He reminded me of Dynomutt (pictured below) who is also on my list too along with Gleek. Dynomutt - He's on the list too ... At what rank and that's for you to find out later! Wonder Dog had a heart of gold, lovable in many ways more than one, and really have a soft heart for me for one season of the Super Friends. I know that most of you are shocked to see him on this list and but he had a very lasting impact on my life and that's why I ranked him one spot higher than Scooby Doo. I was wrestling with that problem with this list and I'm not a fan of Scooby Doo because I still think it is a silly show begin with. It was very debatable to me and that's why Hanna Barbara's Super Friends Cartoon Series had a big impact in my life and Wonder Dog was a part of it. One of the best intro of Cartoon History! I'm still ticked Mattel Never Did the Original Super Friends Sidekicks Wendy Matvin and Wonder Dog!

I almost put Touché Turtle and Dum Dum together in my countdown but after much debating I've decided to axe them because they were supporting characters in the Wally Gator show that ran for two seasons and that's why I decided not to include them. This is why I love this forum. I had absolutely no idea that Touché Turtle and Dum Dum spun out of another cartoon series. Over here in the UK we got their cartoon, which I loved as a kid, but I don't think we ever got the Wally Gator show. Or if we did, I sure don't remember it.

Blip from Space Ghost & Gleek from Super Friends Hanna Barbara Creation at 37From MeThis is probably my most difficult ranking in this countdown because I just love Space Ghost Cartoon and the Super Friends that has a longevity factor of having many incarnations of that show. Being both of these characters are Monkeys and I love Monkeys as a Cartoon Character and having said that - I have a hard time deciding which one should be higher than the other. Both of these characters are the step below from my own Number 36 and he's an icon character from Disney and you have to wait until tomorrow to find out who I'm talking about and now the spotlight on Blip and Gleek both created by Hanna Barbara Studios. From Wikipedia regarding Blip from Space GhostBlip was Jan and Jace's pet monkey, and a sidekick to them and to Space Ghost. On many occasions, he saved the team due to enemies tending to ignore him. From Wikipedia regarding Gleek the Super FriendsGleek is a fictional character appearing in the animated series Super Friends and its related spinoffs. He debuted in The All-New Super Friends Hour, which first aired September 10, 1977 My Personal ThoughtsI want to start off talking about Blip from Space Ghost - of the two characters here - I tend to give Blip a slight advantage here in terms of teamwork and having said that he's grossly underrated character that helped Space Ghost, Jan, and Jayce on so many occasions and the cartoon clip that I will be showing to you shortly is the best example and my most favorite episode involving Blip helping Space Ghost rise to the occasion. Blip is cautious, smart, plays his cards right, and most of all he takes his responsibility very seriously and that's made him a winner in my book. So here the cartoon that I consider the best example of that. Space Ghost - The WebThen onto Gleek the Space Monkey from the Super Friends! My feelings about Gleek is that he is playful, fun to be around, and doesn't take his responsibilities seriously to be much of a help for the Super Friends of the longevity that he has in the world of animated cartoons of where a show that been on television as long as the Super Friends. Super Friends has been on the air from 1973 to 1986 for exactly 13 years and countless re-runs on network television that boggles my mind. And, Gleek was one of the many reasons that this supporting character has been a favorite of mine for years to come. I will show you two short cartoon clips from the Super Friends of where the Wonder Twins and Gleek working together solving a problem that came from the Trouble Alert from the Hall of Justice. I find Gleek in a way capable of doing the right thing and getting the job done. So, here's the two clips that I'm talking about and I consider them one of best examples of that.

#36 Goofy Walt Disney CreationFrom WikipediaGoofy is an animated character created in 1932 at Walt Disney Productions. He is a tall, anthropomorphic dog who is best friends with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Along with not being extremely intelligent, his main flaw is, predictably, his clumsiness and incomptence, hence his name. Clumsy, unintelligent, childish and pure goofy are some of the words that describe Goofy. My Personal ThoughtsI just adore Goofy and he's quite a joy to watch on a given morning when they show his cartoons and I usually catch him from time to time on a Sunday Afternoon on my local television station that airs Disney Cartoons from 3 o'clock in the afternoon to 4 o'clock afternoon and they show all sorts of Walt Disney Cartoons on a random basis and Goofy was one of many characters that was on that time. My local stations only carried them for three years before they axed it in favor of programming geared towards adults. I was sad when they took it off the air on a lazy Sunday Afternoon. I find Goofy quite animated, a joy to watch, and one of the most delightful characters that Walt Disney Studios created. One of my favorite cartoons - is Goofy in the Art of Skiing of which I find it one of the best cartoons that starred Goofy. Here's the You Tube clip of that fabulous cartoon that I liked so well. It's 8 minutes long!

Great choices with the monkey and Goofy. Yes, I always found it very difficult to watch those classic Disney cartoons as a kid. They hardly ever seemed to be on! It was always a treat when they'd show some Mickey/Donald/Goofy cartoons on The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights.

#35 Pluto Walt Disney CreationFrom WikipediaPluto, also called Pluto the Pup, is a cartoon character created in 1930 by Walt Disney Productions. He is a yellow orange-color, medium-sized, short-haired dog with black ears. Unlike most Disney characters, Pluto is not anthropomorphic beyond some characteristics such as facial expression, though he did speak for a short portion of his history. He is Mickey Mouse's pet. Officially a mixed-breed dog, he made his debut as a bloodhound in the Mickey Mouse cartoon The Chain Gang. Together with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy, Pluto is one of the "Sensational Six"—the biggest stars in the Disney universe. The Chain Gang - 1930 Disney CartoonMy Personal ThoughtsI had a very difficult time placing Pluto and he is one of the best creations that Walt Disney ever created and I feel really bad placing him at #35. When, I was researching through the internet one of the thing that pops up in my interest is that he is one of the Sensational Six of which Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy of one of the most popular Disney Characters of all time. This information that I came across a couple days ago stunned me and I just adore Pluto for being so lovable, kind, and just being himself. He was perfect as Mickey Mouse's Pet and they were sensational together that I find to be very refreshing indeed. One of my favorite cartoon in grand days of animation is Pluto's Housewarming of which it's best illustrates Pluto's characteristics quite nicely and they did a good job showcasing it. I found it in the internet and I'll post it for your enjoyment. I just watched it yesterday for the first time in 20 years and I need to start watching more Disney Cartoons because they were made for all of us to be entertained. I just loved this cartoon and I hope you do. Man, I just find his antics quite lovable and it's amazes me of how well this cartoon was made back then and it's a classic!

#34 Yakky Doodle Hanna Barbara CreationFrom WikipediaYakky's name is a lampoon of "Yankee Doodle". Yakky Doodle (voiced by Jimmy Weldon to sound similar to Donald Duck) is an anthropomorphic yellow duckling with green wings who lives with his best friend Chopper the bulldog. Yakky is always one to run into danger when it is most expected. This usually comes in the form of the show's main antagonist Fibber Fox or secondary villain Alfy Gator. Chopper defends his "Little Buddy" fiercely, and is always ready to pound Fibber or any other enemy into oblivion if necessary. Yakky's tendency to put himself in great danger never draws a rebuke from Chopper, who presumably enjoys his protective role. One of Yakky's repeated lines is "Are you my mama?" One of the songs Yakky loved to sing was "Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay". My Personal ThoughtsI just fell in love when this adorable duck says "Are you my mama" and has the sweetest disposition of a cartoon character around. To me, this is one of Hanna Barbara's great creations and well loved by both boys and girls that find this character irresistible and fun to watch. I'm going to share two shows that really puts him into the spotlight and I consider the love and the affections that he brings that really showcase the character innocence and it's desire to do things right. As much I loved this character - it's sad that I did not watch much of him growing up and that's why I ranked him this low in my countdown here in this thread. The main problem is that I was only allowed to watch two hours of cartoons during the weekend. I just loved Yakky Doodle!

#33 Bullwinkle Created by: Jay Ward ProductionsFrom Me: I'm going to try to do two a week and I'm sorry that I'm busy with other projects that are demanding and I need time to think about it. My next one will be either Friday and/or Saturday. From WikipediaThe Rocky and Bullwinkle Show (known as Rocky and His Friends during the first two seasons and as The Bullwinkle Show for the last three seasons)[7] is an American animated television series that originally aired from November 19, 1959, to June 27, 1964, on the ABC and NBC television networks The idea for the series came from Jay Ward and Alex Anderson, who previously collaborated on Crusader Rabbit, based upon the original property The Frostbite Falls Revue. This original show never got beyond the proposal stage. It featured a group of forest animals running a television station. The group included Rocket J. Squirrel (Rocky), Oski Bear, Canadian Moose (Bullwinkle), Sylvester Fox, Blackstone Crow, and Floral Fauna. The show in this form was created by Alex Anderson. Bullwinkle's name came from the name of a car dealership in Berkeley, California called Bullwinkel Motors. Mr. Anderson changed the spelling of the name and gave it to his moose, and an unforgettable cartoon character was born. My Personal ThoughtsOne of the most iconic cartoon star of all time and one of the first major cartoon that has a hour long show and it's got bump around ABC and NBC networks because it's that popular of a show. I just loved Bullwinkle the Moose and one of the most pleasant voice ever by a name of Bill Scott. Funny, Lovable, great partner with Rocky the Squirrel who also on the list too and I just loved his mannerisms and one of my favorite segments on that show was Bullwinkle's Corner of which he integrated cultural aspects to make it so humorous it's really make you wonder if he a genius after all. I just adore this show and it's has fast paced animation, great script, perfect cartoon for all ages and alike and one of the very few cartoons that the whole family can watch together. From WikipediaMr. Know-It-All" again features Bullwinkle posing as an authority on any topic. Disaster inevitably ensues. My Personal ThoughtsMr. Know-It-All is my favorite part of Bullwinkle Show and it's one of the funniest segments around and everybody in my family just loved this part and that why Bullwinkle is on this list.
