Here'a one for you Legion fans. If Matter-Eater Lad can have a song, it's game over. This somehow "wins". Kinda catchy tune too...

I am absolutely appalled that this hasn't been posted yet. This soundtrack is the only album I have owned in EVERY format... vinyl, 8-track, cassette, cd, download.

The rare occasion where the thumbs-down button would be handy.

This album cover is great, too bad there isn't a song to go with it.

Has there ever been a more perfect marriage of style between band and movie?

This album cover is great, too bad there isn't a song to go with it. It's hard to make out but Dr. Strange also stars on Stewart's follow-up album "Modern Times." The light source in the center is the Eye of Agamotto.
Cei-U! I summon one of the best concerts I ever saw!

I can't find an online version of it (and if anyone knows of one, could they please post a link to it) but the electro-rock band Judge Rock had a song called "Westerner" which was about Scalphunter, Nighthhawk, Johnny Thunder, Bat Lash and Jonah Hex's appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earths #3.
Now that's a seriously obscure subject for a rock song.

Well, if we are counting Conan, then I am adding Elric and the Eternal Champion (who have appeared in comic books), with double entries from Blue Oyster Cult.
First, "Black Blade," about Stormbringer.....
Second, "Veteran of the Psychic Wars," (co-written by Moorcock), about The Eternal Champion....

The good doctor is also on the cover of Pink Floyd's A Saucerful of Secrets, which was designed by the same art studio as the Al Stewart cover I posted.

Queen and Highlander? You know, I have never seen any Highlander films. Is it the same kind of cheerful campiness as that Flash Gordon film?

If we're doing properties which had comic adaptations, then get a load of In Walks Barbarella:
