I bought Detective Comics #267 online and I expect to have it in a week to ten days. It’s graded at 3.0. So it’s a little beat up but hopefully not too beat up.
It’s the first appearance of Bat-Mite, so it was a little pricey. I probably won’t be paying that much for a comic book for a long while.

Not classic but I finally made the pilgrimage to Ollies. There is one less than 10 miles away from my son's apartment in PA. They had this 10 pack for 6.99 Inside was anniversary DC giant comics from recent years. And had these dollar books , too.

For 6.99 that's a great pack, the Action Comics 1000 alone covers the whole price.

I suppose it's time to check my Ollie's again. I've never found anything that great. The Weirdworld TPB was enjoyable. Price-wise the Teen Titans Silver Age Archives was a good deal, but I found Bob Haney's treatment virtually unreadable and I had to force my way through it. I've never seen a full omnibus there.

They had 1000’s of books of all kinds in Ollie’s. The comic section has many Archie GN’s and many DC one’s too. I saw the X-men epic Dark phoenix collection. I think they wanted 13.99. My only caveat is that they place price stickers right on the covers. Next time I visit, I have to make a deeper dive, cause this time I had my 3 year old grandson who was hard to handle.

99% of what I find at Ollies is really modern stuff I have 0 interest in. Tons of stuff from that company that does those bad girl fairy tale comics... Zenescope? A million Harley Quinn books...
There was a bronze age Supergirl TPB I considered, but passed.

The price stickers are easy to remove with a little work... blast with a hair dryer for 30 seconds.. carefully peel off, wipe off residue with GooGone, etc. Just be careful not to get the GooGone on the page edges.

They definitely have plenty of garbage for sure, but if you're willing to sift through great stuff can be found. MY Ollies had quite a few Fables trades (the first Omnibus HC, and the last couple soft cover trades) for really cheap, as well as a few Marvel epics.

One of my favorite comics ever. I have other copies, including my childhood copy signed by Mike Grell, but I always wanted a really nice one. Now, thanks to my collection reorganization freeing up some money, I have one!

Nice pick up. I have one that is maybe a 3.5. It's right next to my Youngblood # 2.
