Rain all day, snow showers around 5 pm. Central and Western Mass got up to six inches of snow. Welcome to New England. Yeah I just saw that the Sox game got snowed out when I got home from work. Maybe God didn't want those fugly city connect uniforms to see the field. That's my theory and I am sticking with it. -M

They're forecasting 15 cm of snow for tomorrow. Those are the Spring days that try men's souls.

It's currently snowing here, enough that the cars in the driveway and parked in the street have a snow cover. We're supposed to get 1-3 inches overnight. It was 70 degrees and sunny just a few days ago.

Oh yay. Excessive HEAT warnings already here in Phoenix. Saturday projecting 110 then jumping Sunday to 115 and ranging from the 115 to 117 for rest of the week. Put on the cooking oil and be certain to turn over every 30 seconds so basting yourself properly for an even crisp without burning. Unlike Game of Thrones, Winter is NOT coming, at least not for many more searing months to endure.

Woke to thunder, lightning, rain and cool (for Phoenix) temperature of 75°. Predict storm may hang around until weekend with temperatures just over 100 for highs rather than the 110-115 it has been. Will take all the rain we can get as it's been very long dry spell the last few summers..

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we've had a great couple of weeks since our big heat wave. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 50s, low humidity, no rain. We've had a very dry year. We could really use some rain, but there's none in the forecast.

Rained all day Friday, clouds yesterday and just finished 2 solid hours of hard rain. I no longer have a street separating me from my neighbors. It is a flowing river yard to yard, no sidewalks to be seen water up to vehicle tire wells. Wow!

After a beautiful Christmas snow earlier this week, we are currently treated (for one day and one day only!) to a temperature ten degrees above freezing, rain, and a wind strong enough to uproot a big hemlock in my back yard. It took the clothes line with it and broke another tree on its way down (and it's now jammed at a 40 degrees angle, threatening to fall on a dirt road a few dozen feet away from it).
We won't run out of firewood any time soon, it seems. Wet firewood.

We're getting off easy around here. The temperature is up to 21 F right now, and will be above freezing later today and above 40 tomorrow. There's a thin layer of snow on top of ice outside, so I'm staying in for a while longer.

Here in the Miami Valley (just east of Dayton), we got 3-4 inches of snow overnight, looks like more because it has drifted in places due to 30-40 mph wind gusts. It's currently -8 degrees F with wind chills at -39 here, and our predicted high today is minus 1 degree.

Minus 8 F is bloody cold.

Currently -2 here in Western Pennsylvania, with a windchill of -28 or so, and winds are 25-30 mph, but on the plus side, it's going to warm up to almost 7 degrees by midnight, so we got that going for us.
