This is getting bizarre.
Daily high temperatures at the weather station closest to me on Weather Underground:
Oct. 1 81.3 " 2 69.6 " 3 78.1 " 4 61.7 " 5 72.3 " 6 75.0 Oct. 7 82.9
Will this summer ever end?
edit: why won't the columns line up nicely like they do when I'm writing the post?

It's excessively hot here too for this time of year. At least 10 to 15 degrees above normal. Looks like it's supposed to close in on normal temps middle of next week. I'm going to see my oldest son and grandkids in Colorado for the long weekend. It's much hotter than normal there as well.

It's temperature roller coaster season here in the Miami Valley in Ohio. Sunday highs were in the mid 80s. Monday and today highs are in the mid 60s. It's supposed ot get up into the 70s towards the weekend and then drop into the 50s for highs early next week. Every day has about 10-25% chance of rain, so every day is a crapshoot.
But considering the weather some are having to endure, I won't complain.

I scraped frost off my truck's windshield this morning. So...it was cold last night.

Had a low of 31 a few days ago. Supposed to be 82 tomorrow...southern PA. Similar in Illinois; about to turn colder, in the next 24-48 hours, though. Not mankind's fault, though!

We had our first snowfall over here in the south of the Netherlands (unusually early), though it's not cold enough for it to stick around. Then, after a couple of days of about 38 degrees Fahrenheit, bizarrely the temperature is supposed to shoot up to 62 degrees F the coming Sunday. At least the snow was pretty while it lasted!

We had a bit of snow in the valley. It stuck for five or six hours. They got hit hard at higher elevations though. The local ski resort will almost certainly be open for Thanksgiving.
