Hello, have no intention of "necromancing" an old post, but joined site exactly because I saw that appreciation thread. I was wondering if anyone knows if the avatar I'm using has ever been used in a comic by Buscema and, if yes, which one. It's from the John Buscema Sketchbook, but I have no more info (tried google image search). Grateful for any info, and sorry if my post breaks any rule

I've never seen the sketch before, but Big John was known for leaving sketches everywhere, including on the back of his pages (sketches that were often used by Roy Thomas to accompany text pieces in Savage Sword of Conan). It has a classic look about it, so it could be a more "serious" sketch not meant for publication in a comic; maybe it dates from John's last trip to Italy? In any case, I hope we learn more about it!
