#9 Tweety Bird Created by Looney Tunes ProductionsFrom WikipediaThe name "Tweety" is a play on words, as it originally meant "sweetie", along with "tweet" being a typical English onomatopoeia for the sounds of birds. His characteristics are based on Red Skelton's famous "Mean Widdle Kid." From Me: This character has a very complicated history and having said that has so many different characterizations that it's impossible to determine what character is best - so having said that this is the shortest Wikipedia segment that have in this countdown. I'm providing everyone a link to this character and let you decide which one is best for you! Tweety Bird LinkMy Personal ThoughtsThis character has a long history of so many different characterizations that it's hard to determine the character that you like best. I loved them all dearly and this small yellow canary bird is a sure fire winner in my book and I just loved the simplicity of this innocent little bird that does everything in it's powers to thwart his nemesis - Sylvester the Cat and any other predators (namely cats) in the world of animated cartoons. Tweety Bird is one of the most lovable characters in the world of Looney Tunes / Meery Melodies because this character relates to the underdogs in this world, it's also a mischievous little bird that stops at nothing to let anyone gets a bite out of me; and everything else in between. My whole family adores this character and we just can't wait for him to foil Sylvester the Cat and loved the things that he does to him. I had a difficult time placing him in this countdown and I felt in my blood that Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird should go together and all that. I struggled with that I almost put them together in the same class. But, Tweety Bird is so much beloved that in my own heart that he should be ranked one spot above Sylvester. You really need to read the Wikipedia Link because I find this character has a very rich history of different styles and concepts that been retooled in the right way to reflect the every changing times. That's why I like him so much.

#9 Daffy Duck Created by Looney Tunes ProductionsFrom WikipediaDaffy starred in 133 shorts in the golden age, making him the third-most frequent character in the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons, behind Bugs Bunny's 166 appearances and Porky Pig's 159 appearances. From Me: This came to me at no surprise to me, he was very popular! Wikipedia AgainDaffy Duck is an animated cartoon character produced by Warner Bros. Styled as an anthropomorphic black duck, the character has appeared in cartoon series such as Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, where he usually has been depicted as the best friend and occasional arch-rival of Bugs Bunny. Daffy was one of the first of the new "screwball" characters that emerged in the late 1930s to replace traditional everyman characters who were more popular earlier in the decade, such as Mickey Mouse and Popeye My Personal ThoughtsOne of the most popular animated characters of all time and he's at Number 8 in this countdown. I had a very difficult time placing him in this list because of his ability to work and mesh with any cartoon character in a fashion that's quite amazing to consider him as second fiddle to Bugs Bunny and on par with Porky Pig and other main Looney Tunes Character. I like him as Stupor Duck but this isn't my favorite cartoon of which he portrayed in a parody for Superman This is a pretty bad video! He is so versatile and one of the most funniest around that it's hard to imagine him at Number 8 on this list. He can do any parody, any kind of a character that the writers can come up with and one of the most popular one for all viewers from all ages alike. My Dad who passed away in Spring of 2016 said to me on several occasions that Daffy Duck is one of my favorite cartoon character alive and chuckled every time a Daffy Duck appears on television screen. He was more popular with Adults Viewers than Kids! Wacky, Distinctive Speech, Great Mannerisms, Informative, Intelligence, and One of a Kind Cartoon Character that charms his way in all situations and every time he shines his brightest! I love Daffy Duck!

#8 Speedy Gonzales Created by Looney Tunes ProductionsFrom WikipediaSpeedy Gonzales is an animated cartoon character in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He is portrayed as "The Fastest Mouse in all Mexico" with his major traits being the ability to run extremely fast and speaking with an exaggerated Mexican accent and also speaking Spanish. He usually wears a yellow sombrero, white shirt and trousers (which was a common traditional outfit worn by men and boys of rural Mexican villages), and a red kerchief, similar to that of some traditional Mexican attires.[1] To date, there have been 46 cartoons made either starring or featuring this character. My Personal Thoughts"The fastest Mouse of all Mexico" He is quite a character and one of the most underrated one indeed and I think very highly of him and unfortunately I did not see much of him when I was growing up because I was so frustrated that I never really got to see this mouse at all. Many of my friends often said to me did you see the cartoon last Saturday Morning and most of the time when I was talking to them; I didn't and they said to me it was hilarious of what this mouse did to Sylvester the Cat and any other cartoon character that Speedy Gonzales was dealing with. At the Comic Book Store that I go to we had a poll of which of the many cartoon character that you like to be and Speedy would be one of the top characters that they want to be. He was that popular and having said that this character was well liked by all fans and very popular among boys and girls. He is a lovable, quick to action, decisive, daring, and have a mind of it's own. That's Speedy! You just can't beat this Mouse!

#6 Ant and the Aardvark Created by DePatie-Freleng EnterprisesFrom WikipediaThe Ant and the Aardvark is a series of 17 theatrical short cartoons produced at DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and released by United Artists from 1969 to 1971. From Me: I wished that they did more than 17 short cartoons. THE PLOTThe cartoon follows attempts of a blue aardvark named Aardvark (voiced by John Byner, impersonating comedian Jackie Mason), to catch and eat a red ant named Charlie (also voiced by John Byner, but impersonating Dean Martin), usually doing so by inhaling with a loud vacuum cleaner sound. The character is essentially unnamed; in the episode Rough Brunch, he claims his name is simply "Aardvark." Charlie Ant gives his nemesis a variety of names as sly terms of endearment (Ol' Sam, Ol' Ben, Ol' Blue, Claude, Pal, Buddy, Daddy-O). In several bumper sequences of The Pink Panther Show, he is called "Blue Aardvark." From Me: I just loved the way John Byner did the voice characterizations in this cartoon series. ANTAARDVARKMy Personal ThoughtsIn all the cartoons in the world today and outside of Looney Tunes these two characters are the best there is. I just loved the voice characterizations of one John Byner that did the voices in these two lovable characters that I hold dear to. I loved the antics of these two characters and having said that I just wished that they did more of these cartoons. The Ant is one of the most lovable, innocent fella, full of wisdom, and certainly knows how to take care of himself. While his nemesis the Aardvark is a determined, take no prisoners approach to things, and most importantly trying his hardest to eat that innocent fella by the name of Ant. These two are so amazing together and I always have a laugh watching them on television. This is my Family favorite cartoon and everyone of them just can't wait to watch it together. I have the pleasure of watching the Pink Panther Show on television back then and I was allowed to watch the entire cartoon and when the Ant and the Aardvark is coming on the television - every family member dropped what they are doing their chores and come in the family room and watch the 7 minutes of pure hilarity on a given Saturday Morning and have fun seeing these characters do what they do best. Entertain! That's right Entertain! ... They are the most entertaining cartoons one of the best there is! I watch all 17 cartoons and they were a delight to watch and I have two of my favorites lined up for you to watch ... and I just can't say enough of them in the first place. They are one of the most popular cartoons of it's day and made the Pink Panther Cartoon one of the best made Cartoon Shows ever. Ant and the Aardvark ... A legendary duo of pure entertainment!
