So, for the moment, I'm moving ahead with the assumption that this will be our new home.
Suggestions for a banner image?
Color scheme?
Do we want a similar look to the old place, or something new?

Not on aesthetic, but I'll tell you my first fear. It looked like I could post as a guest before registering. I didn't try it, so may have been mistaken. But if it is allowed, it probably shouldn't be.
On the aesthetic, and I'm not sure if this is in your control, but I would love usernames that allowed special characters, or at least spaces allowed. Spaces add a lot to a name looking like a name. The difference between Dan B. and danb is huge.

I thought Scott Harris was making great images for the 100 greatest comics threads. A collection of covers like that would be great. Maybe he could even do one with our collective top ten for the banner image.

The banner image is probably too obvious to even mention, but I'll go ahead anyway -- Squeeks & Brother Power the Geek crash the meeting of Satanists from The Seventh Victim.

The difference between Dan B. and danb is huge. I don't seem to be able to control this. I'll put it on the back burner for now, attend to a few other settings, and then explore it again. I may just end up contacting the people who run these forums.

I see the banner size itself changes to fit the image. Hm. Well, anyway, I made something using the previous banner size, which was 100 pixels tall by about 1280 pixels wide. Looks like the forum is shrinking it to fit the page so it doesn't break the wall - which is nice - so you will want to right click on it and view image to see it full size.
