I see the banner size itself changes to fit the image. Hm. Well, anyway, I made something using the previous banner size, which was 100 pixels tall by about 1280 pixels wide. I love it. You'll note I threw something up temporarily. Happy to sub it out with your final creation.

And here is my first mention of Sgt. Fury: Sgt. Fury. Are you really going to let me specifically mention Annual #4 first??? Curses! I'd better buckle down right now & stake my claims to John Severin, Marie Severin, 80-Page Giants & Bizarro. And Go-Go Checks.

Aesthetically, I like what you've already done.
My request would be some kind of mark to indicate that you've previously posted in a thread like the old arrow at CBR, if that's possible. I'm getting older, and I sometimes forget what threads I've been participating in. Obviously, it's not such a big deal now, but as the threads balloon in number, it would be something nice to have.

Hey, is the new background crashing or slowing anyone's browser?
Is it too "busy" of a look?
I'm still playing, and inevitably the look of Scott Harris' final banner will help influence what background works.

It does do this, but the difference may be too subtle. I'll see what I can do.

Okay, so, upon further inspection, I can create a different icon for when a thread you viewed before has a new topic, but I'm not sure I can create one to specifically denote that you have participated in the thread previously. I will keep checking. Are the new images for this better or more distracting?

I presume the agreement at CBR, whereby I received 75 cents a post ($1.25 if I included one image, $1.50 for two, $1.75 for three ... $3.50 if I included a video), will remain in effect here.

I find the forum homepage a bit busy with the legend and other links, but I let utility outweigh aesthetic.

Apparently, this is a limitation of the software itself and cannot be undone. I apologize for this rather pesky setback.

Go to your profile, edit your profile, then go to personal. Your display name can possess any kinds of characters and is what other members see when you post

Not sure if its been mentioned, but in the upper right corner there is a box that says Participated. Click on that link and it gives you a pop up of threads you've posted in... If someone already mentioned it, I owe them a Coke. -M

The Cap/Thor image in the menu bar is fine, but I think the panels in the background are a bit excessive, IMO.

It's OK. I do think it looks a little too busy...
