God almighty, the artist must've been trolling the readers. There can't be any way in any hell that anyone could draw an image so bad unwittingly.

Duragizer ... The Hulk and Venom was downright ugly. tarkintino ... The Heroic Comics about 80% of their comic titles were horrible and I have a friend that operates a LCS and he could not understand why these books are being sold everyday. It's puzzles the both of us.

What do I win? oh.. so, so close. but I see YOUR Liefeld Cap, and raise you this: There needs to a law against art that crappy. On that note... Just awful.

Duragizer ... I can see where you are saying; but the way the legs are drawn here looks really weird and bad and that's why I selected it. You have a different perspective and I think you are right on that. Thanks again.

The cover is undeniably crude by any standards. Sadly, the Flash during this era never had the benefit of particularly good art. However, I think it communicates a genuine sense of alienness and that's a fairly evocative giant spider-alien. Within the standards of the time it's a reasonable cover.

Flash #24 I think that's an awesome cover. Yeah, I would not call it one of the worst, but its bizarre in an interesting way.

The only Golden Age DC hero comic (as opposed to Real Screen Comics etc.) I ever had was a Flash and very disappointing art-wise... At least with the Flash Comics above you'd probably get a really good Hawkman inside!

^ Why is that guy wearing his tie tucked inside his pants? I don't think that was ever a fashion.

At least with the Flash Comics above you'd probably get a really good Hawkman inside! Wait... All Flash was not ALL FLASH?! LIES! LIES RIGHT IN THE TITLE! Also the synopsis from Lone Star sounds amazing: Written by Robert Kanigher. Art and cover by Martin Naydel. As a young man growing up, Slapsey Simmons couldn't dance and therefore drew cat calls from the gang. However, the Flash must face Slapsey years later when he decides to use his hated of dancing and music to commit crimes in those places featuring both! One day while the Three Dimwits are fishing, they rescue what appears to be a mermaid, who then rewards them with furniture made of solid gold.
