He was such a genius. I think I saw him in concert with Bootsy Collins once, and I have tons of albums where played keys well into the 1990s.

Sad.
He was so good in his role as Chekov.
Apparently the Jeep he was driving had some kind of brake problem in that model.

Italian comedy actor, Olympic swimmer and renaissance man Bud Spencer died. His movies were massively popular in much of Europe in the 70s and 80s.

Also, by many considered to be the biggest actor of his generation, German legend Götz George, son of controversial silent movie actor and Nazi propagandist Heinrich George and access Berta Drews, died a few weeks ago at 77, as was only revealed this week.

Yeah, Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer films were very popular when I was a kid. They were like the '70s Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. It's sad to see these towering figures go, one by one.

Rough day for sports fans today, as both Pat Summitt, former head basketball coach at Tennessee and all-time wins leader in woman's hoops, and Buddy Ryan, architect of the Chicago Bears' defense that dominated the 1986 season, passed away today.

RIP to Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Elie Wiesel. He is one of my wife's favorite authors, and his contributions to our cultural understanding of the Holocaust are irreplaceable, but till only a part of this man's incredible legacy.
Also RIP to Michael Cimino, the writer/director of the Vietnam epic The Deer Hunter, a film that rocked my world the first time I saw it, and the legendary epic fail that was Heaven's Gate.
Rest well gentleman.

You mean 1985 season. 1986 was also dominant though even after Buddy had left so I guess you aren't wrong.

If there's an afterlife, he's now reunited with Eberhard Feik.

British comedian and award winning writer and actress Caroline Aherne, probably still best known for her alter ego of spoof chat show host Mrs Merton, died yesterday aged 52, of cancer.
