I've read rumors of that possibility tied into Abnett's work on the Titans Hunt mini and his upcoming Titans title. But they also seem to be bumping up the prominence of NuWally, officially making him Kid Flash apparently and perhaps joining the Titans team that's going to be lead by Damian.

I knocked over the Warren Ellis Secret Avengers tpb this afternoon. Six done-in-ones in the vein of Global Frequency, but with various Avengers teams led by Steve Rogers (in his 'Commander Rogers' phase), doing covert ops and saving the world and stuff. Highly recommended. Seconded. I read these as floppies when they came out and thoroughly enjoyed them. Of them, I think my favorite is the Moon Knight-focused story. You all got me curious about this Secret avengers book, and I want to read it! ...But I looked on the Internet (mostly on mycomicshop.com) and can't find what series you guys are talking about. As far as I can see, there is 3 SA series, but none written by Ellis...

His issues were right after the Fear Itself crossover issues.

Read a couple of things from the library-All New Captain America Vol. 1 featuring the Sam Wilson Cap by Remender. All in all, it was a fun read, not spectacular, but a solid enjoyable read.
I also read the first trade volume of the DC Bombshells series and quite liked it. I liked the retro-propaganda style Bombshell variant covers DC did a few years back and was curious about this series when I heard about it, but really wasn't buying new comic when it launched, so I picked up the volume when I saw it in the library. Overall I really liked it, though some chapters had stronger art than others. Will definitely check out Vol. 2 when/if I see it.
I also caught up on Saga, rereading Vol. 1-3 of the trades and then reading Vol. 4 and 5 for the first time. I still really enjoyed it, but not quite as much as I did when I first discovered the book when it launched and I was reading it as it came out. My enthusiasm had waned a bit by the end of the issue s comprising Vol. 3, which is why I switched to trades. Still a very, very good book, and I will keep getting new volumes, but it has fallen a bit in my esteem and not one I would count among my top 6-8 books coming out like I would early on in its life.

Just finished Chew Omnivore Edition vol 1. I'd read these stories before, in tpbs borrowed from the library, but it was a while ago so I'd forgotten most of what happens. Great stuff, and I have the next two volumes sitting on my 'unread' shelf ready to go.

All-New Captain America, out of all the other iterations, probably feels the most like the original run of Cap by Kirby in the 60's Now mind you, I haven't read much of Cap beyond volume 1, but I'm a man who knows what he likes when he sees/reads it

I've gotten past the point at which I'd stopped before. It really is a fun book.

I liked the new issue of Superman (#51) that came out today. Tomasi gets it. This is one of the few times since the New 52 started that Superman felt like Superman. Hopefully this storyline is part of a larger swerve and the current Supes is only gone temporarily, because this issue was solid.
Bonus: They brought back the triangle numbering!

On a whim I picked up the new Black Panther #1 and ended up really enjoying it. Although since the last I had read a Black Panther comic quite a bit has happened. I don't know if I have the time to go back and read through the past couple of volumes but I'm certainly considering picking this new one up monthly or at least getting the trade/hardcover.

Good news today regarding a book I'm looking forward to... Black HammerBeen waiting for that for a long time : Dean Ormston is amazing! Glad to hear he's better. I love his old Judge Dredd painted stuff, The Eaters, his Lucifer one offs and so much more. With Lemire on script, this should be a treat.

Yeah, I'm hearing a lot of good things about the new Black Panther. I'm waiting for the first issue to show up in my mail box. I did a print sub from Marvel for it to support the whole Coates run. I got a pile o' modern stuff out from the library to read and have a big ole to read list for stuff on Unlimited to get to yet, including the Slott/Allred run on Surfer that I will be working my way through the next few weeks. -M

Black Panther has always been a really intriguing mix of 30's-40's style pulp adventure comics ala The Phantom and transhuman fetishism, and this new book doesn't seem much different, though the writer in interviews has said that he's going for a "space opera" on earth vibe like Metabarons
