They take extended breaks between arcs and assess sales data on issues and trades before greenlighting the next arc. I highly enjoyed the first arc, but felt the second was a severe drop. It felt muddled and lost focus, and had poor pacing, leading me to decide not to purchase future arcs. -M Thanks. I guess you mean 1-4 vs 5-8? I hadn't realized they were two separate arcs technically, but I also noticed a drop in quality in storytelling. Some odd choices. But will very good. Yes. 1-4 came out, then a trade collecting 1-4. Then there was a hiatus of 3-4 months before #5 came out. 5-8 are out and the trade collecting them has been solicited. It will likely be several months before #9 comes out if they continue the series. The story is unfinished, nothing has been resolved so I believe the plan is to continue, and BOOM is usually pretty good at supporting creator-owned projects untilt hey reach their fruition if the creators want to continue. -M

I read Void Rivals vol 1 on Hoopla today... I had picked up the first issue but it didn't grab me enough to keep spending money on, but I was curious. It's pretty good, the mystery of why the two peoples are at war and how it ties into transformers is pretty compelling, I'll probably read the next one.

Read "Sweetie: Candy Vigilante" issues 1 and 2 (volume 1) I stumbled across it online today and was really kind of both bewildered and enthralled by the premise of sweets loving good girl with a serious mean streak who utterly pulverizes people in fairly violent and creative ways with candy in an effort to clean up New York's crime ridden streets. Kind of reminded me of falling in love with Jason Martin's Vampblade years ago. Really enjoyed it, looking forward to more

I've been continuing my Thundercats (Dynamite) journey. Just finished ThunderCats: Cheetara #4 and Thundercats #9... so far so good, no complaints and am impressed with what Dynamite is doing. I hope they do something with Silverhawks and Tigersharks.
