everyone seems to be going in the right direction!
and me? despite what feels like eating non-stop, I'm maintaining.
yesterday, I weighed in at 175# . . which is exactly a 70lb loss, since I started in September!
and I've hovered between 175-176 for almost 2 months now. so doing well, as far as I'm concerned. (even tho I still FEEL "Fat").

It's taken exactly 3 months, but I've finally, finally, got a new low weight: 166.6, which is 53.4 pounds down on my starting weight, 1.6 pounds to go to stretch target #1

trying not to be too upset, since I know i've been super stressed, and only exercised once this week so far (will try to get a walk in today, and expect I'll do quite a bit of walking this weekend when I'm at RCCE in Little Rock, tho will be eating bad too, i'm sure). . .but weighed myself this morning:
176.8 #
yeah, not much, only ~2lb gain, but it's really the 1st "significant" gain I've had since started losing weight.. so ..yeah. . TRYING not to be disappointed.

I wouldn't worry about it - it's within normal day to day variability. If it stays on for several days only then have you really gained a bit; otherwise, it's more likely to be difference in hydration or "goods in transit" in your gut.

My first series of 5 consecutive days on the bike since last August wins me a new low weight - 165.8, tantalisingly close to the next two milestones (55 lbs at 165 and 4 stones at 164)

Sorry, that I've haven't been reporting my weight in the past month and half because of certain "project" that I was dealing with and having said that - I'm at 268 pounds and I hope to be down by 240 by Labor Day.
I just brought a new weight scale that goes up to 300 pounds and I will try to report my weight on Fridays.

Hey Simon, How many miles do you bike to your job everyday ? By sheer coincidence, it's exactly 20 miles round trip - 9 1/3 on the way in and 10 2/3 on the way home (different routes obviously, not spatial distortions) It takes me around 35 minutes actual moving time on the way in (quickest since I had the capability to split like this around 32, slowest 41) and a few minutes longer duration, allowing for traffic lights etc. The home trip is both longer and hillier so the times for that centre around about 47 or 48 minutes moving (quickest 43, slowest 53), duration can be all the way up to an hour, due to the heavier traffic. I'm in a pretty good spate of cycling at the moment - every weekday this month, plus one weekend outing. I'm on target for about 400 miles this month.

avoiding the scale for another week, since I'm sure i put on at least 5 lbs during my trip to Little Rock (Hamburger, Pizza, Fried Chicken, Chicken & Dumplings, Roast Beef Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, Fried Calamari, and New England Clam chowder were all eaten over 4 days. . also a piece of Chess pie, and jelly bellies).
yeah.. I know.
at least I drank water, and no alcohol or soda!
and I *did* do a lot of walking.
but not weighing until next week.

Still slowly getting lighter - hit another low this morning, at 165.2, just barely short of that aircon unit at 54.8 lbs down. Also new low on waist measurement, 30.5", down from 41". So far, 250+ miles / 18 hours on the bike for this month, aiming to get 350+ (which I'm on target for), with a stretch target of 400 (which I'm not currently going to hit). Got a session with a personal trainer today to check my form on some big weight compound weight exercises (particularly squats and deadlifts), really to kick into phase 3 of my master plan
