Took a week off from posting new videos after generating 2.5 a day for a while, and Youtube started sending me notifications to make sure I wasn't dead. Anyway, I really took my time with this one, focusing on improving my skill instead of churning out fast content. I really think this is my best toy video yet, and rightfully so since I'm discussing the greatest combining robot toy of all time!

Trying to hit a balance between costly old stuff and inexpensive new stuff. This beauty runs for $65.

If you were a kid in the '80s, there's a very good chance you had this or knew someone who did.

Nope never had it shaxper. To be honest I "Liked" Transformers and transforming robots as a kid, but never "Loved" them as much as everyone else. I was more into G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Super Hero figures, Masters of the Universe etc. I only ever had a few robot based toys as a kid at any given time. I always wanted a Tranzor Z toy as a kid (obviously knew nothing of Mazinger at the time) but never got it. I loved and had Matchbox's Vehicle Voltron (preferred them over Lion Force). My mom was always trying to get me some type of robot toy as a kid but I always declined and pointed to some military, character with a sword or super hero figure. My grandfather was always getting me military and old west type toys... which I loved. I loved, loved, loved Robotech and had a bunch of their toys as well. Anyway I said all that to say looking back I was never more into robots, transformers, mechs etc... as I am now. And even now I will put down a robot/transformer toy for a nice G.I. Joe, militaristic, cowboy, sword and sorcery or super hero figure. But I would like to have that Tai Fong robot now, as well as other non Transformers brand robots from the 80s.

I was far more of a Super Powers / Secret Wars fan as a kid, myself. I loved Transformers for about a year, but then moved on quickly. I guess I've only developed a huge love for it in hindsight too. And I absolutely felt the same way about Vehicle Voltron! Far cooler toy, far cooler cartoon. And don't get me started on Robotech! Still waiting for someone to build a perfect SDF1...

It's so weird how some episodes take off far moreso than others. I knew Dinobot combiners were going to be a popular topic, but I never would have guessed how quickly this episode was going to explode. It was one of the fastest, lowest effort ones I've made:
