What are some of the most obvious cases of mistakes in art? Either miscolored characters, or things colored the wrong way (or even uncolored)?

Ohhh, this is a good topic; I'm sure just about everyone can recall a large number of comics with mis-colored characters in a single panel, etc. (e.g. Robin's green sleeves colored red, Archie Andrews' iconic red hair colored brown in several panels, Hawkeye's purple leggings colored flesh tone, etc.).

Scarlet Witch being colored green on the cover of her first two appearances (while red on the interiors). Wanda's constantly changing costume from a one piece to a 2 piece from panel to panel or page to page in the Avengers issues by Ayers, Heck and Wood (circa 18-20). These were things that jumped out at me while doing my Scarlet Witch read through... -M

Clayface was miscolored as Plasmus in several instances in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Re: those X-Men covers. Quicksilver is also wearing a blue outfit when in the interior he wears green.

From Amazing Spider-Man #3.... Incredible Hulk #219... As for a "how did that get out there?", how about Marvel presents #7, which features a sexual act between cosmic entities! In a Code-approved book! Granted, it's more implied and you had to have some awareness of metaphors for sex; but, it's pretty blatant, for the period.

There's a story Mark Evanier tells that explains why Mister Miracle is wearing his all-white costume, but I can't remember it just now... Ah, here it is: www.newsfromme.com/?s=mister+miracle

WHY white? Simple. See how the 3 guys closest to the camera are all ALL-ORANGE? Nobody thinks THAT's a color "mistake", do they? It's the kind of gimmick STAN GOLDBERG (one of my heroes), the guy Jack Adler and those conceited clowns hated, might have done.
Everybody in that shot is under mind-altering hynpotic control. Those colors? THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE SEEING.
Geez, how difficult is it to figure that one out?

Sorry DC, but how do you spell 'Metropolis'? Wow. Is that misspelling of Metropolis a first for a DC comic?
