After a whole glorious week of having a clear winner, we are back to another tie.
Can someone who has not yet voted please cast a deciding vote between MDG and James.

If it's official, I'll put one up in a little while. This was a tough one on both sides. George Wilson and Morris Gollub (among others) did a ton of nice covers. There was one I was looking for, but it was a 1-shot spy character whose name I forgot so I never found it (maybe it was a Dell). Although most of the Gold Key cartoon covers didn't have the zing of Dell in the 50s, some of the TV adaptations had a nice graphic flair. I almost went with this one:

Congrats MDG. Just curious, was it either of these?

Congrats MDG. Just curious, was it either of these? I saw both of those when I was looking--I know it's not the giant chicken one. It might've been John Steele, but that's not quite what I remembered.

Sorry james....I just cannot appreciate Star Trek....but I do appreciate giant apes destroying airplanes atop buildings MDGIt must be an inside joke. The winning cover had neither. Not that I care, but james entered twice from what I can see...he entered a Star Trek cover on page 1 and on Page 2, it is now his name next to the Kong cover (which before, I swore was MDG). MDG's cover appears to be Solar....which I would not have voted for.... I am so very confused.....thankfully these contests are pure enjoyment so onward to this week!

It appears james' cover date snafu combined with me somehow misreading who posted what lead to a win by MDG!!!!!
Hey, in the sport of classic cover posting, sometimes its not how ya win, it's just being happy ya did lol
