Icctrombone lives in New York. Mexican food is not as well-known in the Northeast, and Puerto Rican cuisine is very different. Growing up in NJ, I had my first taco in my teens, and my first burrito in college. I was surprised the first time I visited my employer's Chicago office and found tacos & burritos in the vending machine in the lunchroom. I'd never seen that before. I've still never tasted menudo or pozole, but I do have a tamale for breakfast often.
I'll probably be available tomorrow.

Another thrilling Zoom get together so jam packed with references I can't begin to list them all. Suffice to say there was plenty of comics, movie, food, adult humor and discussion to entertain. Thank you my friend for providing some downright belly laughs today. If I was prone to being depressed over job hunting (which I am NOT) you folks can certainly cheer me up!
To all you CCF members, come along and check in for all the fun. You are truly missing out...

I shall not attempt the @bert challenge to summarize certain portions of today's Zooming other than saying you had to be there. Suffice to say EVERY Zoom get together is fantastic and entertaining beyond measure! We hit it all in our jovial conversation from comics to movies, to television, to swag and beyond. Hot Topics today were to Dune or not to Dune. Movie trailer spoiling the movie. Showing of comic swag in "funny book" form, toys and prints. Comic book television shows. LCS or the lack thereof in areas. Current events. All that and more!
And of course, our gracious host George has to include some Image, Liefeld and skipping Coletta this time for going straight to Mafia talk. So for 2 hours today we all had a getaway for some friendly discussions. It is as always, interesting, entertaining and adult talk with no holds barred.
Take a peek next time for an exhilarating change of pace from typing away to seeing the faces behind the threads...come ZOOM away with your fellow CCF aficionado's.
