A little update, I am working on issue #3 at the moment, I've finished the line work for 20 of the 38 pages, so I'm just past the halfway point. I'm hoping to have the issue done sometime in November so i can run the Kickstarter and get a second issue out this year. But we'll see how it shakes out.

I also just sent some copies of #1 in to CGC to test that out as a possible reward tier, not sure if I will end up doing it, but its kind of cool.

Thanks for all the support, everyone! We've hit the initial goal, so this looks like it's a go! Still two weeks to go in the campaign, though, and I'm hoping to bring in some new readers, and bring back some old readers, so I'll be announcing the first stretch goals tomorrow.

I've posted some of this over in the art section, but for those who read about Crimebusters here and not there, just cross-posting some updates.

First, the Kickstarter was a success, and the comic has been printed and sent out to everyone!


Secondly, for anyone who missed it, there's a second chance. Now that my Kickstarter campaign is over, I'm continuing the campaign over on Indiegogo. They have a thing there called In Demand, which is basically an open-ended, ongoing campaign for people who have hit funding. So anyone who missed it during the short three week initial campaign can still get the issues and rewards.

Finally, I'm not quite ready to roll this out to the general public yet, but I thought I'd share it with you guys first.

I've set up a Redbubble store to sell Crimebusters merchandise.

For those who aren't familiar with Redbubble, it's an online store where artists upload images which are then digitally screened onto various merch, like shirts, magnets, tote bags, whatever. It allows little creators like myself to offer merchandise without the massive overhead of having this stuff made and then storing it all. I don't get a lot of money from sales here, but I do get a small amount. More importantly, I just thought it would be cool to have Crimebusters shirts and stuff available for people who might want it.

I'm still in the process of adding new designs, so what's up there now is only about half of what I intend to have available when I officially announce this to the rest of the universe. But I thought some of you might be interested in seeing it. And if there's a specific design or image that you want that isn't available, let me know, I can probably add it, and I'm certianly interested in finding out what people actually want!

NOTE: Redbubble considers anything with guns to be mature content, so both the Vera and Granny variant cover images from issues #2 and #3 are hidden behind mature content labels because they are both holding pistols in those images. But if you want a Granny shirt or a Vera wall clock or something, they are there behind that label.
