The Kickstarter is now live! Thanks for all the support through this whole process! If you have any questions, or if there are any rewards or features or anything else you don't see that you would like, let me know! Wow, check out that weird Kickstarter embed! Apparently the Proboards just automatically does that. Kind of neat I guess?

Have you cleared the November Bananas with DE Sinclair and the anti-Banana League. We wouldn't want them to protest this kickstarter over the use of bananas. Campaign looks great, and I was backer #1 (woot!) -M

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
I ate a banana while posting the link, so I hope DE will forgive this egregious breach in protocol.

Here's the latest variant cover! Every issue I'll be doing a variant cover starring Trixie, re-imagining the story as an entry in her line of young adult mystery novels. Here's the first one, which as you can see is an homage to Detective Comics #395 by Neal Adams. Feels very Wrightson/Adams. My favorite one yet.

The ABL has been dormant of late, but still stand against their insidious presence.

Yes, it's coming along! I really appreciate all the support!
Today I'm going to be setting up a Facebook ad, so it will be interesting to see how - and if - it works. I've got Google analytics running to show me where different people are coming from, and it's interesting to see the breakdown. One thing I had learned beforehand is that Kickstarter is essentially a venue for a party, but I have to invite all the guests. It seems there aren't a lot of people that just browse Kickstarter to see what's new and happening - most people only go there if they hear about a project and go to look at that specific thing. So far I don't have a single backer that discovered my comic through Kickstarter itself; everyone has come from a link that I have shared one place or another.
It's interesting, anyway!

I definitely don't want to browse kickstarter, gofundme and similar sites as I would go into debt for years in a couple days with all the music and comic projects I'd find interesting.

Howdy!
Thanks again for all the support, it means a lot to me.
Today, I made a short video where I showcase the things that come in the Crimebusters Fan Club Membership Kit. I was trying with this kit to replicate the feel of being a kid in te 40's and 50's and joining one of these fan clubs, where reading the newest issue is part of a broader experience. I remember how excited I was as a kid to gt the newest issue of my favorite comic. So I took a look back at some of the classic comic fan clubs to see what kind of stuff they used to give their members back in the day; in this video I discuss those inspirations. Spoilers: it's a bunch of classic comic book stuff!

I am a devotee of the Lev Gleason line and have passed the word to some Public Domain fans I know.
