So one of the local vintage toy stores posted on FB yesterday that one of my near-grails had come into the store, so today I took a ride down to the store and got it...I present to you, from the 10 inch Mego Flash Gordon line, Dr. Hans Zarkov...   it was loose, and super-tight, and one of the cleanest loose vintage figures I have seen. The costume is immaculate. However, it was missing all the accessories, but it's still a beautiful piece and the first I have seen in the wild since I got back into vintage toys. -M |

did I NEED another action figure? nope. . .but if it's a Black Manta, and it's only $5 because they ran out of rack space at Target (seriously, there was a full peg of the same figures on the main aisle for $10 each, but a handful of the doubles on an endcap tagged 1/2 off). hell yes. SCORE!  |

I had heard rumblings about these in a few places, so stopped by my local Walgreens (I was told they were a Walgreen's exclusive) and picked up this set of 4 Universal Monster Bendems...  I loved bendems as a kid, but I always played too rough with them until the wire would poke out of the plastic, at which point my parents would throw them in the garbage. I take better care of my bendems now... -M |

I had heard rumblings about these in a few places, so stopped by my local Walgreens (I was told they were a Walgreen's exclusive) and picked up this set of 4 Universal Monster Bendems... I loved bendems as a kid, but I always played too rough with them until the wire would poke out of the plastic, at which point my parents would throw them in the garbage. I take better care of my bendems now... -M Saw these the other day. I don't really collect Universal Monster stuff, so I passed. Did see that they also have a Voltron and a Batman '89. Will definitely be seeking out that Batman. |

Found the Multiverse figures at Wal-Mart and just picked up the Animated Series Batman:  Grabbed a few more of the DC series of Lego Mystery Mini-Figs:  Got a couple of Playmobil's Scooby-Doo Blind Bag Villians:  And at Target, I went ahead and got a She-Ra that was deep clearanced to $4.48:  |

Looking forward to the upcoming SHANG-CHI movie - and except for a coupe of busts / more expensive statues I think I own all of Shang figures that have been released, including the recent Marvel Legends figure. I'm a bit scared of his up coming movie in the sense that will there might be tons of merch. I've already told my wife there's no way I'll be buying a Master Of Kung Fu monopoly game   |
