Then, for a handful of issues (214-219), the original logo was re-used. Never could figure out a reason why. Oddly, the original logo was retained for the annuals (through #218). A third logo began with #220, but only lasted till #230 when Robin's name was added. Then that one was replaced as of #241. (It was only printed at an angle for the first two issues.) It's interesting that they went back to a Golden Age design at the same time the artwork took on a Bronze Age feel. It's also interesting that I don't recall that exact logo (on Batman 214) appearing on a Batman cover - either the scallops disappeared or the ears were longer or the face was a little softer. It looks like they took a bit of Robinson's face, added a bit of Jack Burnley, rounded off the edges, sharpened the scallops, and even pulled down the wings. Anyhoo, I'm hoping that at least two of these logos (including my all time favorite logo - the Infantino one) will be making MechaGodzilla's list.

Adam Warlock Strange Tales #178 This is a recreation, who did it? I honestly can't tell ... but the signatures on the bottom says "Sam Parsons" and "JP Stein" and that's all I can say about it and the website that the picture came from didn't say much either ... Sorry that I can't give you more info.
