Heatwave coming next week -- Average High in my Area is 87 degrees from Monday to Friday. You Easterners. Call that a heat wave? Already endured about a week of 115 degrees 2 weeks ago. Last week and this been 100-105 thanks to Monsoonal rain over a few nights. Predicting 109 by Friday and closer to 113 for weekend through Monday the 23rd. Send me your fresh beef and I can turn it into good tasting jerky just by leaving it on my back porch I'm actually on the West Coast -- Pacific Northwest and home of the Space Needle.

Same as it is every day from May-October here, 90s, super-humid, with afternoon thunderstorms.

It's been consistently hot here in the Netherlands, over 85 degrees Fahrenheit almost every day, without rain for over a month. People are enjoying the hot weather, but for both farmers as well as nature reserves it has not been a fun time because of the drought.

People are enjoying the hot weather, but for both farmers as well as nature reserves it has not been a fun time because of the drought. Here in Pennsylvania we are finally drying out. For 5 days we had a tropical air mass parked over this area that dumped over 12 inches of rain causing flooding, property damage and loss of lives.

Cooler weather in the next 5-7 days and back to sunshine weather in the mid-80's ... we are expecting some rain during those 5-7 days and we going to need it.

There is a joke going around here in Pennsylvania that it only rained twice in July. Both times the rain lasted 5-6 days...
We are only two inches away from having the wettest summer ever.

Typical August week in the 110 degree area. Usually the last big "hurrah" of killer heat days here unless a big storm pushes through. Then we can relax with the 100-105 standard through end of September.

Unbearable Smoke is coming our way tomorrow and may last most of the week -- I'll get terrible headaches from that.

Here in southcentral PA we finally are done with constant rain. Over the last 6 weeks we had a tropical air mass pass over us that dumped just under 2 feet of rain. Now for the last week of Aug we are finally dry but hot (mid 90's) and humid. However relief is in sight as the first week of Sept looks to be dry with temps around 80 and lower humidity.
