hondobrodeSolar wasn't available at the store that go to at the time it was printed and I regretted not having a chance to read some of it and I'm trying to find copies of those issues that you posted and proceed from there.

Dunno why I have to go into novel length details about why I picked Nightstalkers for a thread like this.
Nightstalkers is a short series plus doesnt cost you thousands of dollars to complete the series and Blade Vampire Hunter is the sequel pretty much since it involves a wicked Dracula or some big bad vampire enemy.

Sandman Mystery Theater #1-70, plus an annual and a one-shot Great crime noir, fantastic use of continuity, terrific writing and art, and the best relationship in comics. It doesn't get better than Sandman Mystery Theater.

I forgot about my passion, Thor. The most I've paid for an issue from 140- 502 has been 5 dollars for issue # 225( first Firelord). If it's alright, may I nominate this run then? The merits speak for themselves. Lee/Kirby's part is among the strongest of Marvel's Silver Age. Conway and Buscema expanded on the grandeur of the cosmic areas of the MU while Thomas incorporated some of the more traditional elements of Norse myths. Simonson- 'Nuff Said. Defalco and Frenz recaptured some of the early spirit of Lee/Kirby in their tales. And that's not even covering the smaller creative teams in-between such as Zelentz and Moench. A worthy run indeed. |

Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth would be easy.
I think I could put together a complete run of Challengers of the Unknown, including Showcase issues fairly cheaply on ebay.

Cerebus is one of the most brilliant comic works ever created, but it doesn't belong in everyone's library. I may still go with it, but there are several others I'm considering that haven't been said yet. I'm purposefully waiting to see what doesn't get picked by anyone else |
