There's a purchases thread for classic comics over 10 years old, this one's for comics published over the past decade. As a Punisher fan, I had this one sourced by my dealer...it's #1 from the new Punisher series signed by the late Steve Dillon. This was the variant done for Limited Edition comics in the UK, not far from my hometown in Hertfordshire. Steve worked on many of my favourite Punisher books over the last 16 years and will be missed.

Like newer stuff recently like this year?
Mostly just Mighty Thor, Unworthy Thor, Death of X, the issue 1 stuff for the beginning of Superman Rebirth.
I just git back into comics since I really haven't bought or read comic books since 1996.
I even bought the Astonishing X Men Ultimate volume 1 TPB by Whedon recently

Pretty much the only comics I've been collecting lately are Future Quest, Love & Rockets, and The O-Men.

I got the American version of Trondheim's Mickey Mouse because apparently getting a translation over here will be bogged down in rights issues. Not had a chance to read it yet though.

It is.
There was also a really cool story about a kid skateboarding. It had a real Paul Pope vibe to it.
I love a good anthology.

I got Wonder Woman #23 and WW Annual #1 recently, thus completing my New 52 Wonder Woman collection.
So now I'm working on New 52 Catwoman and New 52 Batgirl. Yesterday, I got a package with Catwoman #21, #28, #29 and #33, along with Batgirl #30. And also Providence #4.
I have Catwoman #1 to #18 and #36 to #52 (except #40), and it's nice to have some of the issues from that gap in the middle. (Out of the batch I just got, I've only read #21 and it's kind of silly. But maybe the Catwoman/Penguin War makes more sense when you've read the other issues in the arc.)
And I'm only missing two or three issues from Batgirl #1 to #35. I have a few of the Batgirl of Burnside issues, #50 to #52, and I'm not that big a fan, in general. (Barbara Gordon lived in Cherry Hill, and it was just beginning to turn into a real Gotham neighborhood.) But I will probably get those issues eventually. They will probably grow on me. It was really nice to see Velvet Tiger in one of the Burnside issues I have. And hopefully I'll get used to the Black Canary's stupid white hair.
I've read Providence #9, #10 and #11, and it's GREAT! I haven't read #4 yet.

Picked up this oversized hardcover the other day for $20. I have the single issues but couldn't pass this up. Can you share a little bit about this hardcover ... I'm intrigued by the artwork and it's has that 40's & early 50's theme?

I'm thinking of adding more signed books to my collection. Here's how Batman Rebirth was introduced, signed by Tom King and Scott Snyder. There was a COA behind.

I'm intrigued by the artwork and it's has that 40's & early 50's theme? I haven't read it yet even though I picked up the issues as they came out. I was planning on reading them a few at a time. Don't really know much about the story either so I can't really help you as of yet. It's by Brubaker and Phillips who I pretty much blindbuy anything they do together. Haven't been disappointed yet. Maybe someone who has read it can answer your question?
