Black is the new Red Shirt, if Civil Wars are to be believed. Luckily, Rhodey's been cloned before so I suppose Tony has a back-up of his psyche on a hard drive somewhere. Or he could have one retroactively when someone decides to bring back War Machine. Or something else. So many heroes have died and come back that I don't really care any more. We readers don't even ask "Is suchandsuch really dead?" anymore but "is suchandsuch currently dead?", a nonsensical question if there ever was one.

I wish Marvel would put the Star Wars solicitations back in the front of the list, then I wouldn't have to scroll through the rest of it to find them.
Peter Parker's not in the Divided We Stand poster, do I have a winning dead pool (not Deadpool...dead pool) ticket?

You need Dr. McCoy to declare people dead to make it stick. or this guy... Is Rhodey sincerely dead?

No disrespect, but who cares? It's , at best, only temporary.

I think this may be the first real sign that the Avengers bubble is close to bursting point. Can I get a team-up with the Great Lakes Avengers though? What would Squirrel Girl do in such a case?

OK, so I'm mostly skipping Civil War, and I think that's a good thing.. the promo stuff is all Iron Man vs. Captain Marvel, right?
So this month's Iron Man issue.. still involves him being in deep cover in Asia (Which is dumb to begin with, but whatever, it's not a bad story) investigating a new Inhuman that can control technology. Great. The problem is, even though it has nothing to do with Civil War (which he's one of the featured characters), it has 'Road to Civil War' on the cover. Oh, and did I mentiong RHodey's in it? And will be for sure again next month? I guess the Iron Man book isn't going to be involved at all in the cross over until it's more than 1/2 over.
Never mind that Mary Jane (who is still sorta trying to be the new Pepper Potts) says something like 'but why would Tony leave his company he's built for so many years?' Great, except, a) either he doesn't have a company at all right now (if you go by ANAD Avengers) after turning Stark Resilient over to Pepper an removing the "Stark' part, or b) this one is brand new. Never mind he's went through I think 6 companies that I can recall.. and sure Mary Jane would have figured that out when he offered the job.
But wait, there's another Iron Man, book.. maybe they'll interrupt the stupid recon-expansion and cross over? Nope. This one says 'Civil War II' on the cover (implying it's part of the event). the first page says 'one week ago' and shows Tony in a lab watching a new report about Civil War.. so, we're to assume that all the events in Civil War take less than a week, and, even thought his best friend dies and whatever the resolution that 'changes the Marvel Universe forever' happens, a week later he's tooling around Bulgaria looking for his birth parents, even though he's know he was adopted for a while now and not bothered. Yeah, that makes sense.
Oh, and the ANAD Avengers are in space, so yeah, they're way behind (or ahead) too.. with a multi-part story that has at least one more part.
Talk about epic fails.. maybe the story will be good and it'll all make sense in the end, but so far this is bordering on Forever Evil levels of bad co-ordination.

I lamented a similar situation in a post in another thread here concerning Marvel's inability or refusal to coordinate events in their books ( Death of Magic In the MU). At this point, it's obvious Marvel couldn't give two shakes of a sheep's fluffy little rear-end about continuity or even the semblance of continuity in its "shared" universe. They just want them dollar bills, quality of product be damned.

....And you didn't even mention how Scarlet Witch is pretty much JUST magical now, and not involved in Doctor's Strange's story. Never mind the new gods vs. the old gods in Hercules, which surely involves a fair amount of Magic.
Hey, now there's a fun idea.. the Imperikul vs. the Modern Age gods.
I think Ultimates this month was the worst.. 1/2 the issue was an origin of the team (which was fine, but total filler) and most of the rest a recap of the FCBD issue.. the only new bit of story was Tony arriving to yell at Carol about Rhodey. (you know, while he's under deep cover in Japan AND looking for his parents in Bulgaria AND fighting knock off armors in SHIELD AND in Space with the ANAD Avengers.. no biggie).

You don't think an Iron Man fan would read ALL of titles, so who cares ?
Today's micro-attention generation doesn't care but Iron Man is kewl !

Actually, Wanda is involved in Doctor Strange's story, having appeared in a number of the issues of his series, including the most recent one. I'd completely forgotten about the stuff going on in Hercules, partly because the series ended rather abruptly and partly because it was a really weak book. As far as the Empirikul versus the Uprising Storm new gods, I would be rooting for the Empirikul. Those new gods were lame, and I hated them from the moment they appeared on the page.

Don't forget that he's also been guest starring in Amazing Spider-Man for four issues now in a story in which every single hero in the MU has been kidnapped.

Harh! This is one of those "I invented Napster before Napster existed" moments! I had that very idea back in 1993 (and I got the doodle to prove it). {Spoiler: Click to show} I had planned the girl to be Rhodey's kid sister, though, not a complete newcomer. She was still to be a teenage computer whiz.

Yet another reason, along with the title character's new personality, for me not to read this Doctor Strange series, at least until the current writer leaves: the whole science vs magic scenario doesn't make sense to me in the form described here. BTW, maybe I haven't heard enough details to understand it properly, but this new event sounds more like Secret Invasion than the first Civil War.
