Small apology. I use a template to post these threads and had intended this to be your FAVORITE Fan piece, not necessarily what you deem to be the BEST one. There's no doubt we have a ton of quality fan fiction and art pieces on the site, and I did not mean to imply that a vote for one is a vote against the inherent quality of another.
With one day left, let's get some nominations going. There's so much great fan work on this site worth acknowledging!

I've been truly torn on what to nominate, as we've seen so much great work come out of the Fan Art and Fiction section in the past year. I've decided to base my nomination less on comparing the inherent quality of different works and more on which work has done the most for me and for the community over the past year. Looking at it from that standpoint, I've got to go with @mrjupiter's Justice League of America, which has been a fun and well written ongoing feature that helped to fill the void left by the ending of Titans of Justice.
I've really looked forward to this feature and hope to see its return in the coming year.

I seconded mrjupiter's Justice League of America because I enjoy his take on his version of the JLA that was truly a piece of joy on his part.

Not sure if this qualifies as fan fic or fan art but it is in that section of the boards...
If it qualifies, I'd like to nominate Le Bras D'Orion by Roquefort Raider. It is simply amazing the time, effort and talent involved in creating this sci-fi comic book epic. We get just a glimpse in the thread here, but man o'man...

And I agree with your assessment. Man o' man... I'm also hoping we'll see some recognition for your Christmas story, Cei-U!'s Avengers script, sunofdarkchild's Supergirl TV show premise, some of the cool fan artists hondobrode has started threads to showcase, and several other treasures in that section so worthy of recognition. It really is an underrecognized section of our community that more folks need to spend time browsing. Edit: My bad. Cei-U!'s Avengers script is ineligible for this year's Jamies as it was posted after April 30th.

My Supergirl tv show by sunofdarkchild's - Like mrp said and I do enjoy this six part episode(s) and I would like to nominate it too because I enjoyed it immensely and she even sent me PM to remind me that a story appeared in the Favorite Fan Fiction sub-boards.
Good call mrp!

Good call mrp! It was Shax not me who brought it up, and you can only nominate 1 candidate per award, and you already made a nomination in this one mecha. -M
