Nothing comes to mind from when I was a teen, but those Knight Rider episodes I loved as a 6 - 8 year old sure don't hold up super well...

I remember thinking the move "the Fly II" was awesome when I saw it in the theatre back when it came out. When I saw it again som 2 years ago, I think the fast forward button reduced its lenght to less the 15 mn...
I also thought that Michael Dukakis had a really cool name but somehow believed he was a villain...

I used to be hooked on a sitcom called "Off Center", but even then I kinda knew it wasn't that good. It really is a product of its time l. Re-watching it, the greatest redeeming factor is John Cho as the wonderful Chau Presley. MOTHER OF SUCK!

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure I'd buy this today, pretty sure I could pull it off. It's just that you can't have this and that haircut and look over 40 years old...

Ew. Even from a very young age I knew this guy was a sexist creep. This guy is a disgrace to his gender. lol. The He-Man cartoons did not hold up well. I watched a few on youtube a couple of weeks ago, and wow. I mean, some of them held up. But the one where Adam meets Cringer for the first time? Nope.

He was disgrace to every gender. And he committed the worst sin a comedian could commit: he wasn't funny.

But, of course then, you are correct.

I really love how people tried outrageous outfits in the 80ies, try to pull off some untested/unsanctoined styles. I find our current days so boring when you look at people in the streets. After playing in nightclubs for a large part of the past 10 years, I also notice that people don't try anything flamboyant anymore, even when they go out to party. I would just love a world where I would go out to a club and everyone looked different and tried to express themselves. Everyone is now so afraid to look ridiculous that we all wear almost nothing but basics, with the notable exceptions of some rich people at award ceremonies, that we rush to mock and single out as well.

Pretty much all the music I listened too as a teen. There's honestly almost nothing I listened to from the ages of 14-27 that doesn't turn my stomach at this point.
A fair bit of the clothes I wore.
Some of the literature I read, though my taste in books has remained similar.

Everything about this did not hold up well. But when I was 11, this was the best thing ever. I even had jeans with holes in them, and I DREW ON MY KNEES TOO. I mean it is complete with muscular-sleeveless-shirt-drummer, overly excited and enthusiastic backup vocalists, mullets, rat tails, and flannel fluffy dress outfits. And poofy hair bangs. NOTHING about this held up well. But I am too old to feel shame for stuff I liked when I was young.
