Daredevil, Daredevil, Daredevil. I'll probably go for completing the Marvel Knights series as I only need the first 30-ish issues. I'll also be on the lookout for key Silver and Bronze issues if that stupid (awesome) Netflix show doesn't inflate them too much.Crap. You think that will happen? I know it's inflated AMS #129 for Punisher's appearance, but I guess I figured that if it was going to inflate DD prices, it would have done it by now? Or, maybe if it does inflate them, it'll either only do it a little bit, or it'll do it gradually. We'll see.

I mean did MORE people walk into comic shops/Search Ebay for SM #129 the week after the netflix show than the week Before?

I've been chasing 168 for about a year, and the price has been a rollercoaster. It shot up when Elektra's casting was announced, but now that the Punisher is getting most of the promotion for season 2, it's started to dip and level out some.

The same thing happened with the X-Men books when the last movie came out and the next one was announced. EBay flooded with UXM 141 and 142 for crazy prices. Even junk books like the 90's Bishop ongoing popped up trying to create a demand that wasn't there. When the Apocalypse movie was announced, dollar bin issues of X-Factor were getting listed at $15-$20 a pop because they were "key early appearances."

There were a lot more available at the time, but that doesn't necessarily correlate to an increased number of books moved.

Years ago I re- purchased Warlock 9-15 and Strange Tales 179-181. It cost me about 2 dollars a book in good/vg condition. After the GOG movie ,they wanted a pretty penny for ST # 180 ( first appearance of Gamora). I wonder if any of those 180's were bought at the increased price.

I sold an DD #168 for about 20 dollars 3 years ago. It was a good 7.0. I still have the surrounding DD issues.

My concentration of comics work is aiming towards the 70s Marvel magazines. I got some of the magazines in 2015, but there are a few back issues to get but there are some one shots and series I don't have yet. There are some other 70s Marvel I'd like to get too. I also have a handful of keys needed to finish off Marvel Spotlight, Marvel Premiere, Savage Tales and Marvel Preview.
Keys: Marvel Spotlight 5 (Ghost Rider 1st appearance) + 32 (Spider-Woman 1st appearance) Marvel Preview 7 (Rocket Racoon 1st appearance - which has gone insanely high) Marvel Premiere 50 (Alice Cooper) Marvel Super Action 1 (early Punisher magazine) Savage Tales 1 (Conan/Man-Thing 1st apperances) The Punisher 1-5 (mini-series) Wolverine 1-4 (mini-series, which hav gotten kinda pricy for a common 80s comic.)
Series: Kull (need about 20 issues for all Marvel runs) Red Sonja (need quite a few) Savage Sword of Conan (got first 36, but need 21 for first 100 and 94 for whole series) Fear (need both the issues before Man-Thing run except #1 and some of the Morbius run)
Monsters Unleashed/Dracula Lives/Tales of the Zombie/Vampire Tales/Haunt of Horror + various related 1 shots Planet of the Apes (Both magazine & comic from Marvel) Human Fly Shogun Warriors Battlestar Galactica (Marvel Run)

There are a few DC series I'd get comics if I ran into a whole run at the right price.
Forever People Freedom Fighters Kirby's Jimmy Olsen run Adventure Comics
Got a few Batman, Detective, The Joker (#6-9), Brave & the Bold & a few Superboy & the Legion issues to get.

My buying has been on hiatus for a while. I don't think I'll ever actually get the last MU comics I need, and will probably just find some other way to read them when I get around to reading them. Night Nurse #1,4 I forgot I recently noticed these were finally reprinted in that Women of Marvel Omnibus. I'll just buy that now. ($60 is a lot for 2 issues, but it also contains 3 other comics I don't own, from Mystic Comics, Patsy Walker and Millie the Model) Marvel Comics Super Special #1 Tales of the Watcher story from Silver Surfer #4 The big thing I have to do and hope to start this weekend is an inventory. My comics have been in and out of storage for years and my electronic lists have fallen out of date. I want to start from scratch using the new comics.org feature and inventory everything, and fill in any holes I come across that I didn't know about. There's a cheaper option for Night Nurse now.... released in 2015 for $7.99 cover price, it reprints Night Nurse #1-4 and Bendis DD #80 which brings the character back into the MU. -M

Although 60 bucks is a cheap price to pay for the Golden Age Black Widow.
Tales of the Watcher is reprinted in Marvel Masterworks: Rarities (along with the Doctor Droom and Doctor Doom.)

Okay, goals for 2016, which I will certainly fail at. In order of priority:
1. Get Boy Comics #3 and #4
This will complete the run, but I doubt I'll come into the kind of money I need to do this.
2. Get Life with Archie #136
This will give me #77-286.
3. Get Lois Lane #47, #54, and #63
This will give me #43-up.
4. Get Hero for Hire #2 and #3
Will complete my Hero for Hire run, so I can actually read this stuff.
5. Fill out my Conan the Barbarian run.
I need 10 issues to have #14-275
6. Finish my Kull collection and read it
I need 6 issues to have all three runs. I need to get these and read them, because I have a weird idea I'm not going to actually like them enough to want to keep them. And I definitely need the storage space if that turns out to be true.
7. Work on my review threads
Especially Superman and Wonder Woman.
8. Work on Archie and Pep runs.
Seriously, there are so many issues of Archie. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard since most of them are worth nothing, but 670 issues is a lot of issues. Pep is more of a sideline at this point, I'm losing interest in it a little, at least post-12 cent era.
9. Work on Sgt. Rock
I need 46 issues to have #209-422. Most of them are dollar bin material, just need to find the right dollar bins.
10. Finish my run of Green Arrow backup stories in Detective Comics
Need 12 issues.
11. Work on my 50 cent bin collections
Power Man, Master of Kung Fu, and Tomb of Dracula are all runs I am piecing together only from dollar or less bins. And I'm not actually going to spend a whole dollar on any of them either, except 20 cent issues of ToD.
12. Read the backlog...
Still have giant runs of Thor and other books to get through.
13. ...so I can winnow down my collection.
I'm out of storage space. I need to get rid of as many comics as I buy. That means reading comics to determine what I want to keep, and making some tough choices. There's a lot of stuff in my collection I know I'm never going to read again, but getting rid of it is still tough for sentimental reasons.
