On the advice of counsel, I respectfully refuse to answer the question. Let the evidence speak for itself:
My wife and kids were VERY good to me this Christmas. More essential "Essentials," and the fabric is a pair of Avengers "lounging" pants (1 of 3). The "Walking Dead Pop-Up Book" is extraordinary, the most intricate and elaborate book of its kind that I've ever seen. I had no idea this even existed, and so my family had the rare experience of seeing me "giddy as a schoolgirl" on Christmas morning.

I got a full set of the Martin Scorsese produced Blues documentaries, some nice tea, and an awesome framed litho of a cartoony depiction of Marvin Gaye.
I also got confirmation that the guy I have a crush on doesn't see me that way and won't go on a date with me.

Besides all the other stuff I got I received only 2 comics but that's okay because I really didn't ask for any but I was super excited by the ones I got...one in particular. There is a story of how the people that gave it to me found out it was on my want list but I'm not going to tell that here. Anyway some of you know that I'm trying to get all 700 Amazing Spidey issues...I'm now proud to say i only need 30 more with the addition of one I got. Amazing Spiderman #15...first appearance of Kraven the Hunter in all his animal print glory! Oh and Bizarro too! It's CGC graded but I'm eventually going to crack that baby open!

Swansea City. One of my employees is a huge Premier League fan, and he suggested if I was going to get into it, I needed to pick a team to follow. Rather than pick a frontrunner, I chose the Swans. They're having a tough year, but I think they have enough talent to avoid relegation. Thay started out real good! Ayew and Gomis are really reliable and professional players, they will score a usefull 10-15 goals a season, each. I'm not too woried for them, as long as neither of those two gets injured. But hey, you could have done worse and chose Leicester last year... Oops...

I also got confirmation that the guy I have a crush on doesn't see me that way and won't go on a date with me. It's a good thing as it then never was going to be, and now you have the privilege to not loose anymore time and energy over it, and maybe even become friends. There's polution, sure, but the sea still witholds treasures of fish!

I mean, if you are ever up to it.

I would kind of love to see pictures of the pop up book. I mean, if you are ever up to it. Okay, but pics don't do justice to the captivating effect of having these illustrations literally leap from the page:
As if that wasn't enough, each page houses a set of mini pop-ups which surround the center-piece, many featuring a classic "->" symbol inviting you to pull and reveal some fresh atrocity.
You really have to see it in person to appreciate the artistry. It's just glorious.

Holy crap that pop up book looks awesome. If I had known about it before I'd have gotten it for someone as a gift.

That is soooo awesome, Phil!! And it's the coolest thing ever that your family gifted you that. It is insane how tall those structures go!

Ok, so I must have been better this year than I thought. My wife took me to Half Price Books today while they were running their storewide 20% off sale and told me to pick out some stuff to finish my X-Mas gifts... first, here's a pic of the stuff I got from my mom... Finder, Fear Agent, A Distant Soil, Usagi Saga Vol. 2 and a bunch of Mignolaverse stuff and here's the stuff I got today... 2 volumes of Sin City, 3 volumes (5-7) of The Sixth Gun, Vol. 2 of Global Frequency, the Heartburst OGN Rick Veitch did for Marvel, the first volume of the complete Alex Toth Zorro from Eclipse, the deluxe edition hc of Solo, an art book on drawing horror comics called Scared that I first saw via interlibrary loan 4 years ago and have been looking for since, and a nifty 2016 Cthulhu calendar... -M
