My vote is also for hondobrode and that epic Wally Wood cover art with nods to Brian Gravity.

Brian Gravity
It may not be the Ghost Rider I'm familiar with but that cover has got me interested.

Brian Gravity for a beautiful Frazetta cover.

Explosions are always funny. Whoever doesn't see it that way has an impaired sense of humor. Unfortunately, it's most of us. This fact made my choice somewhat easier, since only 2 entries glorified this phenomenon properly and I'm going to vote for the one I haven't seen, yet. Posted by Icctrombone

Usually Wally Wood is a shoo-in for my vote.
But MDG gets this one.

The 4th Pip
Lots of great covers, but this is the one of the few I thought the explosion was part of what made it great.

I vote for Scott Harris (And just to be clear, I didn't mean to suggest that the contest theme of "Explosions" wasn't one of my favorites, just that my own entry was not a favorite. Some of you are aware that when I play this game, I choose a cover that matches both this week's and last week's themes. It was surprisingly hard for me to find a gun-toting superhero in an explosion, until I resorted to the obvious suspect, The Punisher).
