Wait, that's areal comic? It was a 16 page mini-comic that apparently came out in conjunction with Dark Knight III: The Master Race.

Dear God in heaven.
I'd rather read a Bazooka Joe.

What do I win? I was looking back at this beauty. Has anyone ever asked Rob what the heck happened here? Literally a face and an arm floating in nowhere land. Unless, it is a reference to something happening inside. I have never read this ish.

Robin and Batgirl fighting an evil George Washington(?) with a flaming sword? Shut up and take my 50 cents!

How did you not recognize Benedict Arnold, jason? And try swing a bat the way he's swinging that sword. Can you say "rupture?"

The entire 70's Shazam run. How did that title ever appeal to people? The fact that they had two photo covers in the first 6 issues was terrible. Especially this monstrosity. Is the kid in his lap coughing? Trying not to laugh at how terrible this comic is? Making fart sounds with his mouth? Trying not to throw up because Shazam has body odour? Whispering to the kids on the floor to run? Infinite possibilities with this bad infinity cover. Not to mention that the kids on the floor are way bigger than Captain Marvel! It's so easy to do a photo cover when you don't really care how good it looks. I actually saw someone buy this book at a comic book convention today for $5,... ...but what makes it worse is that I'm the one who handed it to him. This one was in a bunch of longboxes where every book was $5 regardless of the sticker price, and I had come across it right after I heard him talking to the dealer about wanting to buy some Shazam issues.

Everything wrong with '90s comics encapsulated in one sacrilegious image.

Just saw this one on FB. Barry Smith, who should know better.
A lot of these later covers are just killed by the way they're colored. I don't know if the artists aren't varying line weights and spotting blacks to give the colorists room to render or what, but coloring 80% of the image in varying shades of purple and pink ain't the way to go. I'm not even sure if this is supposed to be a "scene" or just overlapping images of a bunch of characters.

Unless, it is a reference to something happening inside. I have never read this ish. The Red Skull is the most natural-looking character on this cover. And maybe the floating body parts are a tribute to this Kirby beauty:

Another giant pile of non-art, complete with what looks more like a baseball glove than an eagle atop that flagpole.
