(and you bet I'm rounding up to 65 ) so I've lost 26.5% of my body weight! kind of a good day.. . yeah, I'm still super stressed at work (and really need to start getting a resume out there, I suppose). . but I started off the day hitting my "in my dreams, but i'll never hit it" goal: 180lbs. So I now weigh less than I did when I graduated High School! (31 years ago). and then I went to my Cardiologist, and he approved my stopping taking Lipitor! (so down to just one BP med, and some vitamins) Yeah, I have go have some bloodwork done in 6 weeks -- he wants to make sure my Cholesterol doesn't shoot back up. . . but he okayed me to stop taking it (for now). So all in all a pretty good day

Awesome news, bert!
After first resulting in a broken arm last summer, my brother's joining a gym after years of me nagging has also led to him going off his BP medication.

I found a bathroom scale inside my laundry room today while doing a quick load of wash and discovered that I went from 275 pounds down to 273 pounds a lost of 2 pounds in a week. I started walking around the neighborhood and hit the gym doing both treadmill and stationary bike.

Still here, still plateaued, probably as a result of being still not wildly motivated. I've had a few sporadic gym sessions, but I really need to get off my arse (or rather onto it!) and get back on the bike, and I need to get regular into the gym.
My weight chart for the last 3 months or so, after a fairly smooth downslope for the previous 6 months, looks like a seismograph recording of Godzilla fighting the Hulk in the San Andreas fault - wild zigzags around 168-170lbs, but no actual progress, not helped by going wildly off-piste on the calorie limit a few times.

Life and stress (both life and work, but mainly work) have kept me away from posting much the past couple of weeks. . and has really messed up my eating regularly. . but I've still managed to drop a bit of weight.
and I'm doing my best to continue my hour walks at LEAST twice a week.
sorry to see others are going thru similar stress stuff!
anyways, here's my status.

I went from a size 34 (that I needed briefly after the breakup) back down to a size 31, so I could send you a couple of jeans!

I've been in a plateau funk for months. I've mixed up my exercise by adding and trying new and different things. Ive intensified and increased my exercise. I've maintained my diet. I cannot lose the last 5-10 freaking pounds! It took approx 8-10 months to lose 55lbs. But I've hardly lost a damn pound in the last 8-10 months. I lose and gain 3lbs and endlessly circle between 205-207. I just want to break 200! Just once more in my life. Wth.

How stressed are you in your life? the stress hormone cortisol prevents weight loss. I started losing weight when I calmed down (more job security, massages, yoga, meditation).

I'm pretty much in the same boat with the weight cycling, though I know the cause of mine (not keeping strictly enough to calorie limit, and not burning enough in absence of cycling). When you say you're keeping to your diet - have you recalculated your calorie limit based on your reduced weight? Are you tracking everything you eat?

In other news, I am getting a bit more regular at the gym. On Thursday, I did squats for the first time in about 5 years - spent the whole of the weekend feeling like I'd been on the receiving end of a punishment beating! Even hurt to sit down in certain positions, and not helped by spending that weekend up & down (and in one case falling off) ladders, while decorating.
