I'm getting off the deck and beginning to reduce. I am ashamed to admit that I ballooned up to 221. The last 2 days I've stopped eating after lunch just to shock myself into reality. I want to get at 190 for June.

Finally a new low, all without illness boost, and it's a biggie (in Brit counting at least). As of today, I am 167.6 pounds (down 52.4), which is 11 stones, 13.6 pounds - and it's been a looooong time since there was an 11 at the start of my weight. Slightly annoyingly, people who are noticing my weight are mostly saying I've lost too much and don't lose any more - but %%$$% them! I reckon I've got another 3 or 4 pounds to go, which will make an even 4 stones (56 pounds) lost, before my weight hopefully starts to come up a bit through adding some muscle bulk. Awesome, Simon. It all depends on how you feel at your weight. People can be negative, listen to your body instead.

^ don't STOP eating tho.. just eat healthy! Yeah. I plan to eat but I just needed to shock my body and tell it who's in control. In 2 days I've lost 4.6 pounds. I plan to eat a sensible meal tonight.

This morning I weighed in and loss 2.6 pounds from last Tuesday. I'm glad the needle went in the right direction but I did a lot of eating off plan and it should have been more. I have to tighten it up and add gym visits into the mix.

I can't seem to get it together. I gained .6 pounds this past week. I have lots of things stressing me out , my wife is very sick and I'm not eating smart.

I'm making very little to no progress at all - bouncing around the 168 mark, sometimes slightly below sometimes up to 2 lbs above, and have been doing for a couple of weeks. Well into my 3rd month of a succession of heavy colds (or the same one/s coming back), every time I feel better and ready to get back on the bike, another phase hits.
Sorry to hear about your wife, 'bone - hope she's on the mend soon.

Really slowed down on my loss, and that's likely due to work stress. . but I'm about 1lb a week now:

(and wishing your Wife some health improvements). what i've found that helps me? forcing myself to eat something (fruit, nuts, cereal, cottage cheese).. every couple of hours to get my metabolism up. that seems to help.

not succeeding very well, but *trying* not to obsess over the slight weight gain from last week. I now lost 8 kilos (or 17 1/2 lbs) over the past 10 months. I also went down three sizes with the jeans I wear, from a size 34 to a size 31.
