(See the Advance Warning before participating) Nominations for The Professor X Award (Best Discussion Starter)1. Please post no more than one nomination for a member who you feel started the best discussions in our first year of the CCF (between April 30th, 2014 at 9:22pm EST and April 30, 2015 at 9:21pm EST). 2. You must explain why you are nominating this person. 3. Please second no more than one nomination made by another member. You may not second your own nomination. 4. Any member receiving both a nomination and a second will be included in the final ballot for this award on May 25th. 5. Nominations and Seconds for this round conclude on May 10th. 6. Absolutely NO negative talk about another member, nor another member's nomination. The very purpose of this event is to salute our members for all they contribute to this community. Though only one member will ultimately receive this award, you have the potential to thank and maybe touch any member you choose to nominate or second. Please don't use this opportunity to hurt or deflate someone. So start your nominating!

I will nominate Icctrombone. He's started a number of long running threads in both the classic comics section itself, as well as the off-topic forum, such as the Impossible and Goofy Covers, Classic Scans, Favorite Song, etc.

I'm going to go with MRP, not only does he start a lot of discussions but also on a variety of subjects from comic tv shows, up coming movies to novels and sports. He's a regular renaissance man and I always look forward to seeing what's on his mind.

I'd like to second MRP. I always loving hearing his unique perspective (even if I often disagree!). There's been more than once where he's brought up something I'd never considered before.

I would like to nominate Trebor The Unconquered, who started several thought-provoking and enjoyable threads, including Kids' Stuff, Print vs. Digital, and Changing Habits (which I was shocked to learn was not about nuns disrobing). He is a knowledgeable, gracious poster and a valuable member of our community.

I second this, I really enjoyed the recent E-bay discussion and who doesn't like an amusing reflection of swiping?

Definitely has started many centerpiece threads.
