So Marvel just announced a new Guardians of the Glaxy team up series being launched by Bendis and Art Adams. That makes 6 Guardians based ongoing for Marvel now. Six*. More than Spidey. Almost as many as X-books. Say hello to your new cash cow Marvel. *Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians 3000 Legendary Star Lord Rocket Raccoon Gamora Guardians Team-Up Yeesh! Who would ever have thought GotG could support six monthly books... -M Meanwhile, there is no more Legion of Superheroes.  |

Meanwhile, there is no more Legion of Superheroes. Well, there's the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, that are clones of many LSH characters, and with multiple instances of each. Though that probably doesn't make you feel any better |

Bendis' involved with a Marvel series?   I really dislike writers who disregard continuity yet have their horrible ideas be treated like the best thing that ever happened to the company and therefore you cannot ignore their half assed writing! |

Looking into the current GotG series after loving the movie only to discover Bendis is the writer was a special feeling.
On a more positive note, I love Silver Surfer (but I'm behind).

I have 2-9, but I ordered #1. It's one of three current books I'm reading, along with Captain Marvel (my favorite series since the start of the last series) and Thor.

I can't exactly blame Marvel for trying to capitalise on this, a lot of its titles fail, are subsequently cancelled and they need something to buffer up sales. But then again, I don't want to see Rocket Raccoon on a Spidey cover unless he's relevant.  |

Isn't either Wolverine or Deadpool supposed to be on every cover one month? Or did that already happen? Supposed to be like 80+ covers in a month.

I hate when other characters are on the cover with the title's character not shown.
A variant I guess I could understand but not if there isn't another option.

I hate when other characters are on the cover with the title's character not shown. I make exceptions when the other character is an integral part of the main character's universe. Like this....nice MJ cover, nicely done. This is the 50:1 variant of Amazing Spider-Man 2.  |
