Best James Bond Actors1) Sean Connery 2) Roger Moore 3) Timothy Dalton 4) George Lazenby 5) Pierce Brosnan 6) Barry Nelson 7) Daniel Craig I was told and was convinced that Timothy Dalton was better suited for James Bond over George and Pierce because of his nature of his acting and almost got Roger Moore booted out of 2nd place. But, Roger Moore had longevity and I felt he is worthy to be in 2nd place and I might someday move up George Lazenby; but I might switch George with Pierce. I need to watch George only film with Diana Rigg and I just might help him to hold his place in 4th. 2nd to 5th place could change in a year ... I guess since the first "Casino Royale" was a spoof, David Niven's Bond doesn't count?

David Niven's was a parody/comedy/wacky send off of 007 and to me ... this movie back in 1967 does not count because of the three reasons that I gave you in bold.

And I still think it's a great piece of 60s comedy. Also one of the best soundtracks of all time, the album is well worth seeking out.

Bette Davis Eyes (Kim Carnes, 1981) I was surprised at how few songs I liked on that 100 list, though not surprised that I recognised vry few of the post-2000 titles. I might try to go through it more slowly later and pick my own favourites, since there won't be too many to choose from.
Is the Mary J. Blige Family Affair a cover of the Sly and the Family Stone song?

There were very few that I liked either. But my musical tastes are decidedly non-mainstream/Billboard. Ones I actually have on my Spotify lists... Mack the Knife - 1959 Bobby Darin The Battle of New Orleans - 1959 Johnny Horton Let’s Get It On - 1973 Marvin Gaye Another One Bites the Dust - 1980 Queen (my wife and I played this one at my brother-in-laws grave after most of this family had left so it has special meaning) I Heard It Through the Grapevine - 1968 Marvin Gaye Ones I wouldn't turn off if they came on the radio... Hey Jude - 1968 The Beatles (actually I'd turn this one off when it came to the end (the Na-na-na part). Tossin’ and Turnin’ - 1961 Bobby Lewis I Want to Hold Your Hand - 1964 The Beatles Call Me - 1980 Blondie I’m a Believer -1966 The Monkees

No, although that would be cool too.

taking a cue from another thread...
Rolling Stones Songs I like better than Beasts of Burden...in no particular order
Gimme Shelter Sympathy for the Devil You Can't Always Get What You Want Angie Shake your Hips Paint it Black Honky Tonk Woman Under My Thumb Hang Fire Waiting on a Friend She's So Cold 19th Nervous Breakdown Let's Spend the Night Together Brown Sugar Get Off of My Cloud It's Only Rock and Roll (But I Like It) Wild Horses Street Fighting Man
Beasts of Burden. Emotional Rescue, Satisfaction, Start Me Up and Jumpin' Jack Flash are all hits by the stones that I can take or leave, and I'd rather listen to any or all of the above before any of that five.

OK, call the singer/songwriter Jimmy Taylor then. I remember in the late 70s thinking that it was strange that we had a President called Jimmy and a pop star called James.
