Top 5 Avengers artists:
1. George Perez 2. John Buscema 3. Barry Windsor-Smith 4. Frank Cho 5. Don Heck
I might put another more recent artist in 5th place if I was more familiar with the the last few years of the book - e.g. Jerome Opena or Leinil Yu - but I haven't read enough to have a strong opinion.

Frank Cho drew Avengers? Now that I'd be really impartial to the art to read.

The one I read was the one where the latest version of Ultron decides to make himself look like Janet Van Dyne/Pym (whichever she is now). Written by Bendis, so if you like his style you'll enjoy it. For myself it was somewhat marred by an Avengers roster mostly of characters I dislike, such as Sentry and the aforementioned Janet. OTOH, I thought Bendis did a pretty nice job with Ares.

Five artists that I think are over rated 1. Steve Ditko We are no longer friends. It's business, not personal. He's done nothing since he left Marvel in the 60's.

Even if I believed that, I have trouble seeing how it's relevant to the great work he did in the '50s and '60s There are some creators that went on to do great things beyond their first great works. Kirby went on to do his fourth World saga and Byrne went on to do FF and Superman runs that were very good. I don't know of anything that Ditko did worthy of that type of acclaim.

Beware the Creeper Hawk and Dove Ted Kord Blue Beetle for Charlton The Question for Charlton Captain Atom for Charlton tons and tons of horror & sci-fi shorts for anthologies for DC and Charlton Speedball for Marvel that's just off the top of my head and I am not a big Ditko fan by any means, but he had a huge body of quality work post-Spidey & Dr. Strange

Also I seem to recall a story he drew for the black & white Tomb of Dracula mag Marvel put out in the late 70s or early 80s looking quite good. Even his black & white solo books of recent years, though I find them pretty much unreadable as far as the scripts are concerned, are still nice to look at, going by the ones I have.

He never went on to do memorable great stuff like Kirbys New Gods saga or Kamandi.
