I would have the Fantastic Four and The New Teen Titans on that list. You're definitely right about the Fantastic Four belonging on that list. For some reason, I was only thinking in terms of solo heroes. What about Superman ? Luthor, Brainiac, Bizarro, Zod, Doomsday, Darkseid, Mxyzptlk, Terra-Man, Atomic Skull, Blackrock, Imperiex, Cyborg Superman, Lobo, Parasite, Mongul, Toyman, Prankster, Ultraman, Titano, Gog

On the beach I can't be sold that brainwashing or the use of a hypnotic "trigger" phrase as seen in The Manchurian Candidate is SF.Even at the time the book was written

Are you saying it's possible or not ? Just clarifying. Brainwashing I guess is possible.Hypnotic trigger words? Thats an old chestnut used many many times.A Charlie Chan film used it as it's basis and no one ever thought that movie was science fiction. Its like saying hypnosis is science fiction By the way-definitely see the movie. The original, not the Denzel remake

I read a book on that very subject years ago. Looked down upon, not too dissimilar from the dark arts, but yes with conditioned reinforcement, political movements have used pieces like this before undercover until their trigger word takes them back to that intense training on they're on auto. I think it has happened and will continue. This is one way assassins are utilized.

Hm, this seems interesting, we'll try it.
Favorite movie of the year for every year I've been alive. Ones marked with a "?" are years where I don't care all that much about any of the films:
1973: The Sting 1974: The Godfather Part II 1975: Jaws 1976: All the President's Men - ? 1977: Star Wars 1978: Superman - ? 1979: Apocalypse Now 1980: Empire Strikes Back 1981: Raiders of the Lost Ark 1982: Blade Runner 1983: Return of the Jedi 1984: Terminator 1985: Goonies 1986: Star Trek IV - ? 1987: Evil Dead 2 1988: Die Hard - ? 1989: Batman 1990: ? - what a terrible year 1991: Beauty and the Beast 1992: Aladdin 1993: The Fugitive - ? 1994: Pulp Fiction 1995: The Usual Suspects 1996: Fargo 1997: L.A. Confidential 1998: Mulan 1999: American Beauty 2000: Memento 2001: Spirited Away 2002: The Bourne Identity 2003: Lost in Translation 2004: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2005: Serenity 2006: Pan's Labyrinth 2007: The Bourne Ultimatum 2008: The Dark Knight 2009: Star Trek - ? 2010: Inception 2011: Captain America: The First Avenger 2012: Avengers 2013: ? - nothing 2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
1999 and 2000 had a more than a half dozen of my favorite films that didn't make my list. Great time to be a film fan.

Great time to be a film fan. 1990 had Home Alone as the top grossing movie so I guess it wasn't your cup of tea. But also Total Recall, Goodfellas, and Dances with Wolves. Wolves was a very good movie.
