Thanks Kurt, it was a blast. I never really got the chance to participate on CBR, I think I always felt a bit of an outsider looking in, but the community feel here is so good and threads like this are an incredible amount of fun. Thanks again for all your hard work, but should you feel the need to run it twice a year... Kurt did run a mid-year 12 Days one year. Favourite short stories (12 pages or less) from memory.

That's right. We ended up with only a third as many participants as the average CCC, probably because folks tend to post less in mid-summer, but the same amount of work on my end so I decided once a year was enough. Cei-U! I summon the old college try!

Thanks for all your hard work in running this year's Classic Comics Christmas, Kurt. As ever, it was tremendous fun to take part and to read everybody's entries. Roll on the next one!

Cei-U! I summon the old college try! The very purpose of this section of the forum is to encourage a few more regular traditions like the Classic Comics Christmas. We now have The Long Halloween, an event slated to premiere in the Spring, and may consider trying something in the Summer as well. Still, there's just no matching the Classic Comics Christmas. It always has been, and always will be, this community's premiere event. Thanks again, Kurt.
