Not to question your calculations, but it looks to my eyes like Cerebus also got 4 votes. Plus 3 for Love & Rockets. Noted and corrected, thanks. And by all means, question my calculations! Math is not exactly my forte. Cei-U! I summon my feet of clay!

I'd like to echo all the thanks given to Kurt. Especially since participating rekindled some of the love I had gotten from comics by letting me focus on the things about comics I liked, after I had soured on some comic-related things late last year. It came at the right time for me.

Thanks once again Kurt for a fantastic Christmas special. As always, my list might have changed if I compiled the list on a different day, but it is always fun to put it together. I can't help noticing I'm responsible for a third of the books in the crime category, but that's the way it goes.

Thank you again. Since joining the CBR in 2010 I have had wonderful interactions with many terrific people. The CCC is such a nice way to celebrate every year.
Sooooo... What's this years topic? Hints?

This was definitely my favorite Classic Comics Christmas yet, Kurt. Thanks so much for keeping this amazing tradition going each year! NOW the CCF officially feels like home

As a master of ceremonies Kurt you were masterful and the ceremony was wonderful. Just a great great job.
PS: New Gods #7 should also be appended to the list of comics which received 2 votes, courtesy of myself and jodoc.

I miss those guys! I first checked out the Classics board back in December of '06 when Lone Ranger sent me a private message suggesting I participate in something called "Classic Comics Christmas". I've been grateful to him ever since, and agree his presence here is missed. Even if he only managed to pop in at Christmas. Chris, you can still follow Scott's comic book exploits on his great blog seductionoftheindifferent.blogspot.ca/, although even there his activity has grown less frequent.

I agree with Shax that this was the final piece that truly makes CCF feel like home.
Thanks again for carrying on a great tradition Kurt !

Sooooo... What's this years topic? Hints? I have no idea yet. Cei-U! Always open to suggestions! There's always best supervillain designs, to compliment the best superhero designs that was the last CBR 12 Days. (Although hopefully without the disagreements that cropped up in that 12 Days.)

(Although hopefully without the disagreements that cropped up in that 12 Days.) I'd love to see the adaptions into other media assignment return. There have been SO many superhero movies and direct-to-video releases since we last did that one.

Thanks Kurt, it was a blast. I never really got the chance to participate on CBR, I think I always felt a bit of an outsider looking in, but the community feel here is so good and threads like this are an incredible amount of fun. Thanks again for all your hard work, but should you feel the need to run it twice a year...

Thanks again for all your hard work, but should you feel the need to run it twice a year... (Emphasis mine.)Sir, I am familiar with that feeling myself. I’ve participated in two--maybe three--of the ten, mostly because I lacked the time to do the proper research: explanations are not only required, they are what make the event. But non-participants have never been barred from commenting. That’s the other thing that makes this special. Camaraderie. Everybody’s welcome.
