With LwA #126 and 128, I seem to have stumbled onto a brief stretch of the title in which both issues have Mr. Lodge victimized by unusual criminals, and the gang forced to solve the crime. #126 was a fire extinguisher salesman who would gas his victims, and #128 was a portrait painter whose paintings would hypnotize the victims. Fun ideas, boring execution.
By the way, I did order Scott's cherished LwA #125, but it isn't here yet. Difficult issue to track down, so I bought it from some shady online comic shop I'd never heard of before, and I give it about a 60% chance of ever actually getting here.

LwA #144: Silly stories, including a Robinhood parody. Truly nothing memorable here.
LwA #161: We're back to Archie solving crimes committed against Mr. Lodge. Nothing all that memorable there. But the final story has the gang caught in the middle of a twister. It's a little intense, but also played for laughs. I really don't find it all that memorable until the final splash panel, after everyone is okay, and they suddenly take stock of the devastated town around them, showing the readers that twisters have real repercussions well beyond the initial moment of impact. Pretty powerful.
