Nothing for me. I'll get the new Nick Fury mini in trade once it comes out. So I'll focus on hitting the backlog and getting the rest of Home Sick Pilots and maybe some other Wijngaard work.

Waid had a fun set up with Batman, Superman and Robin getting invited to Themyscira to help Wonder Woman solve a locked room murder mystery but the reveal that it was a god of deceit kind of torpedoed the thrill of that classic type of story. It still had a light, fun tone though which I love and the absolute wonder of Robin encountering a Kanga and wanting to keep one at the batcave was worth the price of admission on its own so I'm definitely not too disappointed.

The whole Absolute Power storyline definitely sucks...but this issue of Superman was surprisingly decent for a tie in. Zatana taking Superman on a magical mystery tour was fun and the addition of Neron was a good Cliff hanger. Which all goes to show that you really can make lemonade from lemons.

While we didn't get a lot of Bruce as Nightwing it was still a fun little nod to the times Dick has stepped in as Batman so ultimately although underused it was still fun so I'm not mad at it being included. I also really liked the bit with Boston meeting Dick as a kid, circuses regularly trade talent so it's not egregious that Boston could have traveled with Haley's Circus at some point. And the addition that it was supposed to be Dick that died and not his parents? I thought that was a fantastic twist. Next to Worlds Finest this is still one of my favorite books out there right now and although I'll be sad to see it end it'll be interesting to see what Taylor does on Detective.

I really liked the exchange in Nightwing where Dick finds out Bruce was covering for him. And Bruce says the suit is snug and that he quipped. Twice.
I'm not sure we needed a 6 issue storyline to get to that scene, but Taylor excels at that sort of moment that makes the uberfan in me nerd out.
There was a similar one it Titans, when the Spectre tells the Titans not to get in the way and fight Heaven and Hell... great stuff.
I think based on both books being locked into overly long stories with weak plots, though, its time for Taylor to move on. I'll miss him, but it feels like the right time.
