I hope this is okay to post this, but I thought that any fans of the 1980s photo comics might be interested in this as it's a Kickstarter campaign for two brand new photo comics, the Doomlord inspired The Chefs Of Death Issue 2 and the Eagle-esque Hawk Issue 1982, with all profits going to @mindcharity
As you'll be able to see from the cover there's a very special fictional guest star in The Chefs Of Death, but inside the comic there are also very special non-fiction cameos from the likes of 2000AD's Steve MacManus and John Higgins, the man behind the launch of the 80's Eagle Barrie Tomlinson, and Will Preston, the co-host of the acclaimed podcast Marvel Versus Marvel.
With the second comic there's a free 13 page sampler which features The Chefs Of Death, Arcade Gamer and Nicodemus In Space that can be downloaded here: www.mediafire.com/file/pf2dlnlg88erlow/Hawk_Photo_Comic_1982_Sampler.pdf/file
And out of those stories I'm particularly happy about how this homage to Computer Warrior came out.
Anyway, I really hope people like the look of the comics, and if you have any questions about them I'd be more than happy to answer them (and if you want to be in a future issue that'd be great too, as the next issue is going to be the biggest one yet!)
