Too many good ones... Maybe we should make the themes more specific, like best cover featuring an artichoke to come out on a Tuesday during February in a leap year.
Anyway, MDG for that moody, noirish Bernard Sachs cover.

It seems 1970 was a very good year for foxley, who wins with 3 votes. It must not be Slam_Bradley, kirby101 or MDG's birthday, as they just missed out on first place, receiving 2 votes each. And better luck next year to chaykinstevens, MDG, k7p5v, tartanphantom, tarkintino, codystarbuck, EdoBosnar, and berkley, who got one vote apiece. Also someone called 'Hots', who got a vote despite not having an entry!?
Thanks, everyone. New contest up soon.

(...) Also someone called 'Hots', who got a vote despite not having an entry!? (...) Well, given the clue about "80s babies bias" it was either a vote for Rags or Driver1980, because I'm assuming robot1a didn't vote for his own cover (and near as I can tell they were the only ones who posted 1980s covers).
Anyway, nice job on the win. For some reason, I always feel a bit validated when the cover I voted for wins one of these...

Well,driver1980 also posted an 80s cover, but it has no 'babes' on it.

Congrats to foxley. And thanks to Slam and Dubip for their votes.

To clarify the 'hots' mystery, it's the name Rags is registered under, short for head of the snake....

I view the forum on the mobile app Tapatalk. So, sometimes the usernames are different. I’ll say the cover name to avoid confusion from now on. I was voting for the Secret Wars cover. Congrats, Foxley for the win!

Anyway, MDG for that moody, noirish Bernard Sachs cover. GCD suggests Gene Colan may have pencilled that cover.

Haven't found any site that breaks the tie. Does look like it could be Colan. Doesn't matter in the long run. MDG chose a stunning cover either way.
