I just learned that I may be forced to read comic books digitally sometimes next year when my Comic Book Store is going out business because the owner is seriously thinking of retiring soon and I refused to go to the two other stores in my area because it's a high crime risk area. I may have to do some thinking about it in the next few months to go to a subscription route and/or a digital route. The owner will have some ideas for me to explore.

In the last 2 years I've gone completely digital via Comixology and Dark Horse for new and some back issues.
The deals are decent, I love having them available digitally, and the Guided View makes it an enhanced experience.
Plus, I buy the heck out of the sales, with issues usually around $ 1 each.
Instant gratification, no s/h, no tax.
