Which is your classic? Original and later revived yellow, or 80's brown?

It depends on your definition of "classic," I suppose. The brown costume made a lot more sense (there are darn few yellow-and-blue wolverines) and was aesthetically superior, so that's how I voted.
Cei-U! I summon the personal preference!

Brown. Makes more sense as above post states.

Got a soft spot for the yellow-and-blue because I was introduced to Wolvie through the animated series from the 90s. But the brown-and-tan makes more sense for a stealthy character like Logan.

I hear you guys on the colors, but I've also heard there are a ton of blue and yellow wolverines up in Michigan.

Comic fans are the only people that demand accuracy on Wolverine colors but are okay with a person with a cape flying in the sky without an airplane.

I love the look of both costumes. Brown was the classic 80’s I grew up with so that’s kind of special, but on the other hand I love 90’s X-Men best (comics plus the cartoon and action figures).
I’ll give it to the yellow costume by a wolverine whisker. I like both showing up in the comics though, like red and blue Spidey will always be the real deal for me, but the black suit sometimes reappearing is fun.

Always wondered if there was ever any credit who created these costumes in the comic book? Was it a member of Department H(?) that came up the original and what was their thinking with the whiskers? One thing I never Liked about that costume. I think Heather Macdonald was given credit for the second costume.

I consider the “first appearance” Wolverine costume underbaked, they had to throw the cake back in the oven for a little bit.

Brown for me.
Yellow and blue is, well, more suited to sports teams. They look great in such colours. I do not believe it suits Wolverine.

I prefer brown. But I prefer his yellow and blue to the 90s period where he dressed in the New Mutants' costume. Better yet was the Morrison/Whedon notion that he would think costumes are silly.
