Looks like an expensive week because I had two big books show up the same week. This is what Comics Hub says I have (I think, I haven't picked up last week's books and their still listed in my cart, but release date isn't given, so I may miss something as being this week)...
Doctor Strange #3
Pathfinder Wake the Dead #1
Sanjulian: Queen of the Lost World #1
Weapons of the Metabaron HC
Will Eisner's Best of the Sprit Artisan Edition
those last two are the big pricey arrivals.

Dr Strange #3. Dormammu! But MacKay defies the usual conflict in favor of a more esoteric one that fits in nicely with the theme of magic and why Strange is an unconventional hero. Plus Ferry's art really showcases this quality. Well done! Plus more of Clea and Stephen as a power couple.

I want it to be, but the bits I have picked up didn't really strike my fancy. I read and enjoyed a bunch of it via hoopla, but I haven't read all of it, so I can't speak definitively, but I enjoyed what I read enough to give this one a try. I strongly dislike the Pathfinder game mechanics, but I do like a lot of the setting they developed (but then the setting predated the game since it was developed when they were making official D&D stuff before 4E). -M |
