I did like seeing them add Bane and Harley to the Batman '66 comic:

At least they got Blue Demon's mask right... Harley looks a bit more Modern Roller derby than 1966 Roller Derby..... They should have Batman and Robin meet Tony Marino and Alex Macaluso, in the ring.....

Going back to the 60s Ninja Turtles, there was no real Ninja craze at that point, maybe call them the Teenage Mutant Judo Turtles.

Give the Turtles the Bronze Age Kung Fu treatment.

Indeed. I know origins are probably reliant on the era. If the Hulk was debuting today, I could imagine a serum or super-steroid rather than a gamma bomb. So, what would Venom’s origin have been in 1962, or 1963, or 1964? Hmm… Given how Ditko's Spidey villains were all scientific creations (the Tinkerer being the infamous exception), I think a Silver Age Venom origin might have been more similar to what Bendis did in Ultimate Spider-Man: a man-made chemical designed to cure cancer, which goes bananas.
But really, Venom is a character not at all out of place in the Silver Age. A goopy space alien that gives you superpowers? There's a zillion of em.
