Trying to decide what to do about an ISP. We currently have Verizon FIOS for Internet and home phone, but we are strongly considering dumping the landline, as it gets almost zero legitimate use. Verizon has a deal for just 100 mbps Internet right now , but if I switch to Comcast, I can get 100 mbps Intenet plus 45 channels streaming plus HBO (GoT Season 7, baby) plus a $50 Visa prepaid card for even less than the Verizon deal.
The hang-up, at least for my wife, is that we would need to switch all of our e-mail addresses that we have with various sources yet again, since we switched from Comcast to Verizon about 6 years ago. I told her we should just use our family Gmail account for everything, but she is skeptical even though it makes perfect sense to be ISP-agnostic and have everything go through a third-party provider such as Gmail.

I've never in my life set up an ISP email. It just always seemed easier to use gmail or the like. My land-line exists because of internet requirements. I don't even have a phone hooked up to it any more.

Watching hockey and drinking a bacon and maple syrup flavored soda. I'm only enjoying one of the those two activities.

I'm waiting for the work day to end. I'm thirsty despite having drank a lot of water today. Weird huh...?

Finished up my wing sauce. It's a spin on BWW's Asian Zing, with the heat kicked up a few notches.
The wings will go in the fryer in about a half hour.
Wife has made her bean dip which is incredible.
Sister is bringing over jalapeno poppers.
Little smokies are in the crock pot with barbecue sauce.
My two younger boys are on the sofa to my left.
Life is pretty good.

I'm in a cottage in the Poconos relaxing with my wife in front of a fireplace. We both needed a weekend "off" after the last few months.

I'm at work preparing to deliver mail in a bad snowstorm. I hope you be safe and be careful ... I'm bracing for a two day of winds and I've might be without power today or tomorrow.

Just finished digging out from under 6" of snow so that my kids can get to school.
Luckily though, it is supposed to be in the mid-50's by Saturday and low-60's by Sunday, so the snow should all melt by then, and then we have the flooding to look forward to.

Serving as kitchen manager for my church's annual "Heart Breakfast", an event focused on the women of the church and community. I get to work with some awesome folks to prep and serve a meal for a little over 200 women of all ages.

Doing more research for my JLA picks and that's what I do about 1-2 hours a day in the internet thinking about the Hollywood Actors and Actresses from the 40's to the 50's to play each role and it's not an easy thing to do.
